Like other Spigen product I've owned, excellent fit and finish.
This is excellent protection for the iPad and it definitely needs protected/covered. Alone it's just too slippery to hold onto. This case fits like a glove, is nice and slender, not too bulky with a great rugged appearance and excellent grip. Highly recommend!

Perfect 5th Generation case for non-pencil users
I REALLY like this case for my 5th Generation iPad Air.It's a perfect 4th/5th Generation iPad Air case, particularly for people like me who don't use the Apple Pencil. So many of the cases I've looked at and personally tried out have an extra enclosed space dedicated for holding the Pencil on the right side of the case. I've found though that this enclosed Pencil holder tends to make the cases floppy and harder to hold for right-handed people, especially when there's no Pencil in the holder. It's surprisingly difficult to find a case that molds exactly to the iPad Air without the extra built-in enclosed Pencil storage space, but this case does exactly that.I do need to note that there is an external side tab to hold an Apple Pencil if you really want to, but it's designed in such a way that it doesn't compromise the rigidity of the case around the iPad Air. It's not an entirely enclosed Pencil holder, just a non-intrusive tab.Overall, Spigen has a winner here with this case. It's got great device protection, is rigid, and is easy to hold. I would highly recommend it to 4th/5th Generation iPad Air owners!

Great case, just a few issues..
UPDATE: I just got my Apple Pencil and decided to use it with this case. At first, the case and the Apple Pencil didn't get along that well. The Apple Pencil wouldn't even pair at first, so I had to take off the case to pair. After a few tries, it started to charge my Apple Pencil though it still wasn't that reliable. After a few minutes of trying, the Apple Pencil is now fully compatible with the case and the case can reliably charge my Apple Pencil. The strap provides more peace of mind when carrying my tablet around.I really enjoy using this case. It doesn't feel too cheap, it looks great, but there are some things I think Spigen should change here.Negatives:First, the cover attracts a lot of dust and it's really thin. After just a few minutes of using it, I turned it around and was shocked at how much dust it had collected. My old iPad case also has a cover but it's nowhere as dirty as this one, even after over a year of use. I'm also concerned about the cover breaking or tearing since it's so thin. I'll update this review if something happens.Secondly, the cover uses magnets to support the iPad. Sometimes it doesn't lock on properly and the iPad falls down. I think they should add stronger magnets to the cover. But, when it does latch on properly, I'd give it a 5/5.Also, the cover is annoying if you're holding the iPad in your hand. I wished there was a way to stick the cover to the case from the back so it doesn't flap around.Positives:First, Spigen claims this case provides "Military Grade Drop Protection" and contains "Air Cushion Technology." I'm confident that this case is going to protect my iPad from drops and scratches.Secondly, the "Utility Mode" is really useful especially when you're typing or writing on it. It won't unlatch even when your pushing really hard on it.The magnetic flap is awesome as well. It helps prevent the cover from opening when you don't want to and it helps secure your Apple Pencil. It also charges your Apple Pencil, even through the case which is a HUGE win. I'll update this review when I get my Apple Pencil and will include photos. Also, the sleep/wake feature works flawlessly so the iPad wakes up automatically without me pressing the power/Touch ID button.Lastly, the cutouts are extremely precise and you can access Touch ID and the USB-C port with no issue. The speaker cutouts are precise as well.Overall, I'd still recommend this product. It's a relatively well-made and well-engineered product with some minor issues that can be easily fixed by Spigen.

Worth it
This iPad case feels high-quality and very durable. It’s quite sturdy, and while putting it on, I accidentally lifted a corner of my Paperlike screen protector. Still, it’s totally worth it!

Great but a few minor flaws
I never write reviews so heres a list of pros and cons in my opinion:Pros:- Seems very durable, but still lightweight and thin. Not as big and bulky as an otterbox product. However not flimsy either. I have not dropped my ipad yet so Im not sure if it’ll actually do the job, however it feels like it will. Keep in mind im basing this opinion off the fact that I also have a screen protector.- I feel like the grip is very good- I also feel like the pencil holder was designed well to effortlessly hold the pencilCons:- If you’re getting this for writing, theres not a stable way to stand the ipad up properly for writing. There is a good way to stand it up for watching movies or just using the ipad, but not writing.- Also, if you use this for writing, the edge of the ipad case will dig into your wrist a bit. You’ll feel it after a couple days of using it.

Thin IPad Air case
Super thin and protective case for IPad Air. Sleek design with built in stand. Built in holder for stylus. Only 2 things that could be improved is multiple stand levels and when open a the case magnetic flat open without folding tab. Still A for protection and thin design.
