Faber-CastellEssentio Leather fountain pen, M, black

This is a comfortable and smooth writing fountain pen. It uses the international cartridge refills. The price is modest and it looks good. I have been using it everyday for the past three weeks and am very pleased. Without a doubt, I would buy it again.

Faber Castell general is an "upper class" quality fountain pen - It’s unusual to get a leather version and like it. The nip is good quality and I like the design which is very nice. I like fountain pens and I have different brand, Parker, Cross, Waterman, Lamy, and Pelikan and still I think that the Faber Castell is one the most comfortable fountain pens to write. My daughter had a Faber Castell “Basic” fountain pen and had some issue with the pen after the warranty has expired. I have contacted Faber Castell Customer support via the Website line and the reaction was very fast. I have sent them a picture of the pen and I got free of charge a replacement. This is one the reason to recommend Faber Castell. Do not compare this pen with the "Graf von Faber Castell", because this is the top class of pens you can buy. The manufacturer is the same but this is the top class range.

La penna è davvero di ottima qualità, vale interamente i soldi spesi: il getto d'inchiostro è costante e pulito, nessun problema nella scrittura per lunghi periodi. Anche la lunghezza della penna col cappuccio messo sul retro non dà problemi, dato che il tappo pesa pochissimo.Unico problema è l'inchiostro spedito insieme alla penna: è un Pelikan blu molto chiaro, quasi sciacquato, che si vede bene appena si è finito di scrivere, ma appena si secca sul foglio è difficile da leggere perchè troppo chiaro.Cosiglio vivamente di comprare altri inchiostri con cui sostituire quello fornito con la penna.

Guter Füller. Sehr schöne Optik. Schreibt Recht trocken. Zwar gleitet die Spitze über das Papier ohne zu kratzen, aber es gibt doch ein leichtes Feedback. Verarbeitung ist gut. Er liegt angenehm in der Hand und ist eher für den Erwachsenen als für den Schüler. Durch das Leder wirkt er sehr hochwertig und edel.
