It’s a good product on the whole, easy to use but some letters just seem to be back to front! The F and the lower case ‘r’ just don’t look right and would look miles better the other way around. Also the capital a isn’t a capital at all.I spent ages messing around with them thinking it was me that had them the wrong way up and then came back here to cross reference with their pictures. Relieved to know it isn’t me but a really frustrating issue that could easily be solved.

I bought these despite the few reviews commenting on the backwards F as I didn’t need that letter but since it arrived and I’ve properly looked at it I can see it’s not backwards it’s just a hand calligraphy type capital F and is designed correct.The set is really easy to use, impresses into the icing well and cleans up nicely. The letters are a good size and so easy to line up and arrange neatly.I’m really pleased with my purchase.

Really easy to use I love them. The great thing about these fonts is they are designed to help you get it right. On the back of each letter is an arrow so you know you have the letter the right way up, the letter is also on the back so you can double check before you press that you have the right one, there Is a line going through the middle on the back so when you line up the word your letters sit correctly next to each other at the right height and if you haven’t pressed hard enough because they are used individually you can put the letter back onto you sugar paste and press deeper. There really easy to hold.

They are good, but a bit big, so on a 4”, 6” even 8” cake you wouldn’t have enough space to write more than a short name. Also if you’re a fan of buttercream cakes I found it difficult to use them, but maybe it’s just me and I need to practice more and find the right way to do it. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Thesis is a brilliant set to use, especially for decorating cake boards.Each plastic character has a tiny handle to hold so it’s easier to grasp when in use. It’s very easy to use- simply push the individual characters into the fondant pull it back out and voila….you have a perfectly formed number which I usually colour in with metallic paint or so. It’s really as easy as that.It’s definitely a set worth buying, along with the alphabet set too.I think it was quite a good price too.
