Great little table-top fan!
This is a fantastic little fan for the purchase price. The front knob keeps falling off, but that will be fixed with a touch of superglue. It charges quickly, maintains a charge in sunlight and has very powerful output for such a small device. The super-bright LED lamp function is a perfect flood light and the flashlight casts a fairly narrow, but extremely bright beam that is reminiscent of an old fashion flashlight. I will be buying more of them!

Lights stay on long time,MINE CAME w US PLUG
THIS CONTRAPTION IS ADORABLE ,ITS A BIT DELICATE,I ORDERED ONE FROM A DIFFERENT SELLER YEARS AGO AND EVEN THOUGH IT ARRIVED DAMAGED THE LIGHT/FLASHLIGHT STAYS ON A VERY LONG TIME AND ITS BRIGHT.THE FAN STOPPED WORKING,BUT WHEN IT WORKED IT STAYED ON LONG TIME IF THE SOLAR PANEL WAS IN DIRECT SUN LIGHT ,MINE CAME WITH A PERFECT US PLUG ,SO I CAN CHARGE WITH SOLAR PANEL OR PLUG IT IN .CHARGE LASTS A LONG TIME. THEY MAKE EXCELLENT GIFTS IN CASE THE POWER EVER GOES OUT ,YOUR LOVED ONES CAN RELY ON THIS GADGET ,I PREFER THAT THE SOLAR PANEL WAS DETACHABLE WITH A LONG CORD, SO THE ENTIRE DEVICE WOULD NOT BE SUBJECTED TO THE HARSH SUN IN ORDER TO CHARGE .ENJOY

Wish Fan Would Run Longer
I originally received one of these fans but had to send it back because it wasn't working. The second fan I received works. This fan is decent if you charge it by plugging into electricity. I live in Florida, and what I really wanted it for was in case of extended power outages such as from a hurricane (we lost power for five days during Hurricane Irma). To test out how long the fan would run, I set it out on a sunny day for about six hours. Unfortunately, it only ran for maybe two hours at medium speed. I did the same thing a second day with similar results. I don't think it's going to help me sleep during the night if I am depending on the sun to charge it to run for six hours. So, I can't really recommend it for power outage emergencies where you need a fan in a warm climate to run for quite a few hours. The other disappointment is that the manufacturer did not include any instructions with it. I had wanted to know how to tell when it is fully charged by the sun, but there is no indicator. Also there was no email address where you can contact the manufacturer directly with questions. I eventually did get in contact with them through Amazon and they said they would work on including that information with future solar fans that are ordered.

Better Single Use?
2022 Update... 4 yrs later! While it may look a bit flimsy, this thing still works nearly 4 years later - I have dropped it in the river more than once, just plain dropped it alot, finally lost the front knob, and yet, it lives! Will be moving this year, and the old beast is making the keeper cut - been using it while I work backyard building projects.Original review:While I usually favor multi-function items, in this case I think I would be better off with a dedicated solar fan. The fan function was the prime motivation for my purchase, and I'm not sure if it is the size/shape of the fan or the size of the solar panel, but it doesn't move as much air as I'd like. All the features work, and while it is still a good choice when I'm trying to minimize items for a camping weekend, it is no match for tropical heat or tropical bugs. Definitely better than no fan. The ability to pre-charge or re-charge by plug is a great feature, as I can get a boost from a power bank or auto when needed.

Stopped working after less than 3 months
I liked this fan in the beginning as I like a little extra air at my desk. However, within the past month, even after charging it all night using 110v plug, it doesn't work longer than a half hour. Example: Today I unplugged it after a night's charge, tested the lights - both worked fine, turned the lights off, then turned the fan on low. Within 25 minutes it stopped blowing. I turned it on and off again, it blew for a minute then stopped again. Lights are no longer charged. It's a shame, because I like the portability and ease of use. I tried the Solar charging in the beginning, but that wasn't as effective as electrical charging. Now it's a big waste of $$.

Relief
The Ansee solar fan I purchased is a minor but important investment. It is equipped with a functional solar/power system, lamp flashlight, easy to carry and, most of all, it provides much needed air when there’s no power. I deem it a necessity because it is convenient to have it during hurricane season and power outages. It is light weight, sturdy and affordable.

You need to charge for more than what it calls for.
The light is really bright, very light weight, the fan did not work initially, but I let it charge for a day and it started up. Over all I am happy. I had no issues with the second one I purchased

Suppose you get what you pay for
I think I maybe had unreasonable expectations for this. Its solar charging is painfully slow, it doesn't hold a charge for very long even when plugged in, and the light is uselessly dim. I actually couldn't even tell that it was on in the daytime. You'd get better illumination from glow in the dark stickers. Fan works okay, but I'd leave it plugged in - which probably negates whatever reason you're buying a solar battery powered fan in the first place. It stopped working entirely after a few weeks. Real landfill stuffing.
