Nice holster, strong clip and excellent price. Fits my Kimber 1911 CDP II Tactical with a 5 inch barrel. It fits snug without a snap which I like. Took a little practice to draw smoothly as with all new holsters. I have crimson laser grips and need to remember to separate the leather away from the laser as it is being holstered. The front sight post does not catch on the leather because it does not extend too far beyond it. (See pics) I have a compact 1911 CDP II as well and this holster works great with that pistol. These are my most reliable pistols. I wear it on the small of my back and it hides well without printing. I am right handed and ordered a left handed holster which allows me to draw the pistol with my right hand from behind me. I am a public school teacher and will be carrying it on me from now on. I use to keep my pistol in my computer bag in a locked "secret" pocket. In my state teachers are allowed to carry in school with their CCW and I know of 11 other teachers carrying at my school as well. It is sad to think it has come to this in our society. I would recommend it to anyone carrying a 1911.

I’m not a ccw holder but I like to have a holster for my handguns. The clip seems very sturdy and the holster didn’t come off during practice draws even when wearing gym shorts. I don’t carry but wanted a quick break in for this holster so I tried the following process with my 3” kimber. First I warmed the holster in a ziplock bag in warm water. Then I vaccume sealed the holster with the gun in it and put it back in the water at around 110 degrees for about 20 min. Then I took the package and put it in my refrigerator for a couple hours to cool down. It came out pretty good. Left the front end tapered and flared out the area where the safety comes in contact with the leather. Fits like a glove!

If you’re looking for a nice silent suede 1911 styled holster I recommend this but if you want something that has more retention meaning keeping your firearm more secure maybe do a couple more browsing around don’t get me wrong. This is a decent holster, but if somebody were to God forbid, get their hands on a firearm that Is being held in this holster the chances of them getting it out quick and faster than you could possibly stop them is not going to be good so if you want something with a little bit more security, do a little bit more browsing if you’re just looking for something that you can just slip on and you feel like you be able to stop anyone who would be able to take it out then this will be a holster for you it does take time breaking in But overall, not a bad in the waistband holster for the price it is

Perfect fit for my SA Garrison!

Part of maintaining and owning an EDC pistol is the trials and errors of finding the right holster. If your like me, I have been building quite an assortment. There's a different holster for every occasion. Then I came across this nice looking, not over-built, but STRONG suede holster from Relentless Tactical for my Springfield (1911 Full size 5").This is a very well built, light and COMFORTABLE HOLSTER!!! I received this holster today, and right off the bat, was impressed with the quality. It's very slim, and much more comfortable than the bulky holster I was using. The only problem is that the first time I tried to draw the weapon, the front sight post caught. It took me several tries, and alot of readjusting to get the weapon out. All of the pictures show the holster extending past the end of the barrel. This is very deceptive. I have a 1911 with a 5" barrel, and the holster ends at the rear of my front sight post. If the holster were even 1/2" longer, it would be perfect. I have the pistol resting it the holster with the sight post pulled into the end, hoping it will mold around it.... I will update this review in a few months to let you know how it goes.

The suede is thicker than I expected. It is constructed of real hide, so on the inside your gun rests against real leather. This is great, because I chose suede so as not to mar the finish like kydex style holsters are known to do. I have a government model, which does stick out a little at the tip, but the clip provides a secure attachment to my belt and sagging isn't an issue with a properly sized belt. Absolutely better quality than expected for the price. Reholstering is only possible with appendix carry, because the holster collapses without anything inside it. But, realistically you're only pulling it your firearm if you need to use it.

I just got it so maybe I’m jumping the gun on judgement but wow for the money this is great! The retention is a little too tight but it will probably loosen up some over time but the suede is nice and soft inside so I’m not worried about marring the finish up. The belt clip is simple but effective, it has a notch facing up and inward to snag on your belt. Pretty nice design to fit a variety of belts at various positions on your waist. I’m running a full size Para expert and my front sight does not stick out. Could not be happier especially with the price tag, great job Relentless!
