sweet amp
don't be fooled, even at one watt this amp gets real loud, 40 watts is more than enough than to play auditorium size gigs, reasonably priced too

Turn up the mid and bass. Turn down the treble and hold on...best amp I ever had
This is great and hard to describe unless you play on it

An amp crafted by mad scientists!
Let me tell you this amp right here is loud! Sounds crystal clear and cuts through the mix. Clean tone sounds amazing and both the crunch and lead channels are fat sounding. Love everything about this amp can't wait to play it live!

Great Value at this Price Point
Love these TubeMeister deluxe amps. Very versatile with a great recording interface in the RedBox DI system. Like one reviewer said, turn up the mids and bass, lower the treble, and hang on. Crystal-clear clean tones, and lead and crunch without too much noise. Takes pedals very well, and the blue lighting is just too cool.A couple misconceptions: one, its power soak attenuator (terrific for low volume playing) is 40/20/5/1 (watts), not 40/18/5/1 as advertised almost everywhere. That was the older TD-36. Also, I don't know where the one-star reviewer came up with no USA/Canada warranty, but I bought a TD-20 in late 2021 (still have it) and registered it just fine, and did so with my new TD-40 yesterday. BTW, the H&K warranty is three years. This well-built 16-pound amp is loaded with value, comes with a carrying case, and the best way to get into H&K at 40+ watts without going for the gadget-laden GrandMeister, or the $4500 Tri-Amp.

NO WARRANTY
I bought this amp and a speaker only to find out I could not register the product. why? NO WARRANTY in the USA or CANADA. You buy it - you own it. there's no getting it fixed under warranty. It says - 3 years. but if you live in the USA or Canada - it's zero.
