Adorable design. I like it but my cat just ignores it

I have the fussiest cat alive. Once I had removed the daisy as she didn’t like that at all , she loved it.The daisy is decorative and makes no difference to how the fountain functions.Great product.

Using it for two kittens and they seem to like it. More intouch with a natural way of drinking. No more spilled water bowls. Water keeps fresh through filtration and constant running. Bought the spare filters as well. Only down side might be the noise of the running water at times.

This product is really great as our cats would keep jumping up on the washbasin to drink (and play with) the water when it was coming out of the tap. They both took to the fountains straight away and after a few days of weaning them off with both a water bowl and the fountain they are both now fine just drinking from the fountain. With the small water bowl (approx 200ml) we filled or topped up daily, with the fountain they drink about half (1.5L) in 2 days which is keeping them happy and hydrated! Could have done with a nicer colour (don't like the green) but for what the product does it is perfect.

The cat much prefers using this to a water bowl. You should clean it out every week or 2 because it gets a bit slimy as with anything in water.It's a shame the filters are costly and have to be replaced so frequently. And honestly, the colour is garish.It would be helpful to have a longer cord but the item itself is compact size.Overall It's a sturdy, good quality product.

Mon chat s'est très vite habitué, et son goût avancé pour monter sur l'évier pour boire un filet d'eau a pratiquement disparu !Je veux bien croire certains commentaires qui parlent de la pompe qui fait du bruit ou qui casse rapidement.Le 1er jour la pompe était pratiquement silencieuse (un ronron discret), au 2ème jour on l'entendait. Ce n'est pas gênant mais ce n'est plus le ronron discret. Depuis cela n'a pas évolué et elle fonctionne toujours.Seul réel problème avec cet appareil (de conception ?) : la fontaine tourne en permanence. Sachant que le chat boit au grand maximum une dizaine de fois dans la journée, la pompe "s'use" pour rien (j'ai un seul chat, il vit dedans et dehors selon ses envies).J'ai trouvé une solution à cela : j'ai branché la fontaine sur un détecteur de mouvement.Quand le chat s'approche, la fontaine tourne pdt au moins 5 minutes !Cela allongera la durée de la pompe, limite l'entrée des saletés et l'évaporation de l'eau.:-)

Super quiet. Don't be surprised if your cat takes a while to figure out it likes it. Usually you have to put this somewhere obscure so your cat thinks it's getting away with drinking something it's not supposed to be. Cats are pricks like that.

I have had that fountain for 4 months now and although at first I was very enthusiastic about it as it did help my cat in finally drinking water (as a kitten she wouldn’t touch water however it was presented), now as an adult she has learnt to dismantle the fountain. I found it funny at first, unfortunately today she dismantled it and bit the USB cable within the water recipient. Luckily I was nearby and switch off the fountain off the main. This is a major dangerous design flaw. I wish this fountain came with some kind of locking mechanism.

Se acabó mi odisea con esta fuente.Después de leer buenas opiniones tanto en Amazon como en Zooplus, lo adquirí hace unos 4 meses por este medio para que mi gata bebiera más, porque estaba más aficionada al grifo del lavabo que a su propio cuenco, que lavábamos cada 3/4 días por cierto. También era un problema cada vez que necesitábamos hace un viaje de una semana o más, porque había que llenarle 3 tuppers más con agua para que la pobre no se quedara sin agua durante nuestra ausencia.Al llegar el paquete y montarlo todo fue de maravilla. Mi gata le encantó desde el primer día y abandonó al grifo del lavabo para acostumbrarse a su nueva compañera. Justo dos días después nos fuimos de viaje 8 días y estuvimos muy tranquilos porque nuestra gata bebió mucha agua.Pero a las dos semanas empezaron a venir los problemas.Pasadas estas dos semanas, tocaba limpiarlo y percibí que el agua se ponía muy viscosa.También le cambié el filtro por si acaso, aunque leí que con cambiarlo cada 4 semanas era más que suficiente.Lo fregué todo a fondo, volví a ponerle su filtro nuevo y lo llené de agua.A las dos semanas otra vez, lo volví a fregar y llenar, y nuevamente estaba con el agua viscosa.Para empezar a descartar, esta vez le quité el filtro por si a lo mejor los filtros venían defectuosos.Nuevamente dos semanas después, el agua seguía viscosa y ya empecé a mosquearme.Analicé el motorcillo al detalle y me pareció ver que soltaba como "aceite" o algo parecido, no sabría que decir que es, y eso me mosqueó.Limpié a fondo el motorcillo con un bastoncillo, fregué a fondo la fuente y la volví a llenar de agua sin filtro.Mientras tanto, pregunté desde aquí mismo en Amazon si era normal que el agua saliera viscosa o si a alguien más le había pasado, pero de las 10 respuestas o así (2 de ellas de vendedores), nadie me dio una respuesta coherente sobre el problema, así que me quedé sin solución externa.Por último, pasados estas dos semanas volví a coger la fuente y nuevamente estaba muy muy viscosa, más incluso que otras veces, así que me cabreé del todo.Le pasé un analizador de agua de los baratos y me salía que el agua estaba contaminada.En ese mismo momento lo metí en la caja con la intención de revenderlo en Wallapop, pero es que ni eso, no quiero que otro gato se intoxique nuevamente con esta fuente.No se si hay opción en Amazon de devolución pasado unos meses, o simplemente me toca darme el paseo al contenedor de inertes.Editado: Al final llamé a Amazon y me tramitó la devolución sin ninguna pega a pesar de haberlo usado más de un mes.Como siempre AMAZON 10 !

Sehr leise, einfach zu reinigen, hält viel Wasser.Aber wozu? Der Filter ist nach zwei Tagen voller Keime und Bakterien, die eure Fellnasen krank machen. Dieser ach so tolle aktivkohle Filter von Catit sollen für bis zu 30 tage das Wasser sauber halten. Kein unnötiger Wasser verbrauch.Aber diese Reinigung ist absoluter Schwachsinn. Eher verunreinigung. Meine beiden Kater leiden seit längerem an schlimmen Durchfall. Ich hab es nicht gewusst. Habe drei wochen lang mit meiner Tierärztin nach der ursache gesucht. Keine Giardien, endoparasiten, nichts. Doch verschiedene Pilze.Ich habe regelmäßig den brunnen gereinigt und den Filter mach spätestens 15 Tagen entsorgt.Und dazu ist plastik eine hervorragende Grundlage für Bakterien sich festzusetzen.Macht es besser und guckt nach einfachen Keramik brunnen, die einfach zu reinigen sind und KEINEN aktivkohlefilter beinhalten.
