Great Buy!!!
I bought this product over a year ago. The purpose was because I wanted to protect my flat screen TV and all electronics attached to the TV in cas there was an outage. I will say that it has held up over the months. It works great and to this very day protects my expensive devices. I have bought other brands in the past from Walmart and Best Buy... and unfortunately those stopped working only after a few months.I would recommend!!

Quick Delivery after Power Outage
On Monday afternoon, we experienced a thunder storm with high winds that blew down trees, caused power outages and tore off roofs. We had power surges, heard popping noises, and lost power for several hours. When our electricity was restored, we were so relieved to find that our TV and computer set ups were protected by our Surge Master surge protectors that we had purchased over ten years ago.We learned that surge protectors should be replaced every couple of years. Since we knew that our electrical power had surged several times during the storm, we decided to replace our old ones with two new Surge Master protectors. These new Surge Masters quickly arrived two days later, providing peace of mind that our home electronics are fully protected again.

They’ve got my trust.
3 years with it. 0 issues. Also, I own other Belking extenders for 12 years and they are working as new. I totally trust this brand.

Good Little Surge Protector
I purchased this Surge Protector many months ago and am still using it. It has held up nicely and has done a great job of protecting my stuff during many power surges and storms. It provides 7 outlets, which is just great. I would have liked a little bit more space between each plug since some companies still make those ridiculous power blocks. At the price I paid for this surge protector, I am very happy with it. It is visually appealing as well. You will not regret this item.As with most surge protectors, they insure X amount of dollars worth of equipment if it is attached to it and dies cause of a surge. You will need to read the instructions on the process if you intend to do so. That usually means keeping the box and lots of documentation.

A nice product that has lasted a few years for me.
Have a couple of these due to their better than average capacity for surge and they last. Do your homework on this capacity thing.....compare the numbers from different products.....Huge difference in protection level. BUT...congratulations on seeking surge protection at all....Power Companies universally will not give you a dime for their screw-ups that fry your electronics. Although I have not had any known incidents with my incoming power, I have spent the money as an insurance policy to mitigate possible failure.Good spacing on outlets...gives you a chance for unusual items that you wish to energize. Indicator lights and a power switch fill the bill. This product is not small...look for the dimension numbers. The bigger is a bonus for my needs. And this is just a well built unit.

Best Power Strip Design I Could Find
First of all this is a convenient power strip that works. I cannot test its surge protection ability. I chose this particular brand and design because the distance between the outlets is a little bigger than other power strips, and they're positioned perpendicularly to the strip's alignment which makes it much more convenient for all sorts of power supplies that are shaped like a cube or a rectangle. There is one outlet that is positioned further apart for an extra large power supply which is extra convenient.Worth mentioning is that the button to switch the strip on or off for all outlets is on the top of the strip and is easy to press with the foot. It may or may not be preferable by every user. If you have pets or kids they can easily press this button. Alternatively you can press it with your foot.

low cost way to protect inexpensive gadgets from moderate power surges
Pros: It's Belkin: It's inexpensive: It has a long cord: The indicator light for when it's time to replace the surge protector: The power switch that can shut down power to all 7 outlets simultaneously and save you money on electricity. The Cons: Some devices and appliances might not fit next to each other in adjacent outlets because the regular outlets are spaced a little too close together. Conclusion: A low cost way to protect inexpensive gadgets from moderate power surges. Can also be used to easily cut power to multiple 'power vampires' that drain electricity even when they are turned off. This is great for coffee pots, microwaves, small stereo systems, small/old televisions etc, dvd players etc. For more expensive devices like desktop computers, large flat screen televisions, smart phone chargers etc you will want a costlier surge protector with a much a higher surge rating and is also carefully designed to accommodate larger power plugs that this can't fit in each spot.

Fear "Wall-warts" and transformers no more. This one actually gives you some breathing room.
Works as advertised and the spacing of the outlets makes it a LOT more convenient to use than your standard power strip with "wall warts" and transformers of several shapes and sizes. The alignment of the outlets from "left to right" instead of stacked top to bottom, is another helpful design trait. It's as if someone at Belkin actually paid attention to the problem of using those old school power strips and did something about it.The standard rj-45 phone jack in/out are a bonus for those who still have a phone/fax and the warranty is a comforting factor.
