Apply the paste evenly on the hair from root to tip. Keep it for 3-4 hours and wash it thoroughly without applying shampoo or conditioner. (The reason for not applying shampoo or conditioner within 48 hours of applying henna is that it takes longer time for the henna colored peg to mix with the hair.
