If you have some metal to shape, and you're just getting started in metal work, then this is a gewat set. Heck, I've been doing metal work for years, and just wanted an affordable set to do a project I was doing at home. These got the job done and then some. I think I will use again on future projects, and leave the high priced name brand stuff to the guys that do it everyday.

I can't say that I wouldn't recommend this kit due to the price point. HOWEVER, to do quality work, some things have to be said. One, every part of this kit will need some minor work to get it just right. Overall, the finishing is pretty good but I will be doing my own finishing on these before they see a vehicle. Mostly, it's burrs on the edges. For me, it's not a big deal. Two, this is not a good set for old school vehicles with thicker gauge metal. These tools are smaller and lighter weight than what you will normally see. With that said...I am actually anxious to try these on newer vehicles. The smaller sizes are appealing to me for those hard to reach areas. Also, the weight of these should be really nice for the thinner gauge metal of today. DO NOT buy these to restore your Chevelle SS. I would recommend this set as long as the above description is mentioned.
