Vallejo - Liquid Metal | Copper 35 ml. (1.18 fl.oz.)

This looks very good but is difficult to work with. It does dry out very very quickly, you can extend the time if you thin it with a bit of alcohol (91% so it doesn't rust), but then its thinned out and even harder to work with. It doesn't mix well either, after vigorous mixing the flakes still separate. Still, if you can learn to work with it then the results are quite nice. Comparing this to the "Metal Color" line from Vallejo I'd say the Liquid line is superior, but the Metal Color line is really nice as well.

Paint is super thin, it’s like copper colored water. I have shaken it, used my agitator on the paint and it still doesn’t cover. 5 coats on white primer and you can see more white then copper!

I was trying to replace a metallic copper paint that works well for touching up tiny areas of copper sculptures. This product is like water and is not a true raw copper color. Probably good for crafts that require a copper "look" but do not make use of real metal.

I like the color I used it as a dry brush to give my miniatures that old copper look

UPDATE: Man muss wirklich mehrere abstriche machen, damit es auch absolut deckend ist, die Farben sind sehr flüssig, fast schon wässrig, dass es nicht deckend ist. Den Preis finde ich dennoch ok, aber weiß nicht, ob ich es erneut kaufen würde. Denke eher nicht, denn im gesamten gesehen (Preis und Versand) gibt es bessere und günstigere Alternativen.Diese Farben werden für Geodenuntersetzer aus Harz verwendet, um die Ränder farblich glänzend zu gestalten. Ich selbst habe es noch nicht ausprobiert, weiss aber aus Bekanntenkreis, dass diese Farben ideal dafür sind. Freue mich schon riesig auf die ersten Projekte. Gerne wieder
