Gave our 130 pound dog his mobility back!
If you are thinking about buying this product, just do it! Our dog with degenerative myelopathy who can't even support his own weight has gained his full mobility back with this product. He loves going for walks and being able to go to the park. I think some of the negative reviews stem from the product being a bit difficult to put together. You just have to have someone a little bit handy who knows what to do with all the screws and such. When it is well adjusted it works perfectly, even for our big dog. He is 130 pounds and we went with the large. It doesn't go by weight, it goes by height. So buy the one that is the correct height and it will work for you!

Amazing for med-large dogs
Amazing wheelchair for my 12 yr old boxer. He’s 75 lbs and has been having trouble walking. The wheelchair needed some adjustments to his height but it’s been serving him super well!

Wonderful product! Great material used
Although I had to return the product due to size issues but the material sent was of great value of the price paid. I will surely go for the purchase if it's available in the size I need.

DISAPPOINTING... harness is broken after 6 weeks of use.
UPDATE after 6 weeks of use:I've had it for just over a month and the rear harness just broke. Very low quality and crappy product overall. Worth the extra money to get the other doggie wheelchair on Amazon cuz this one is rubbish! Super disappointed with how little use I was able to get out of this. Just barely outside of the return window. Do yourself and your doggo a favor and PASS.Original review:My 66lb Belgian Shepherd was recently diagnosed with Degenerative Myelopathy while coming off of four months of crate rest for bilateral partial CCL tears - bummer right? I looked up wheelchairs on Amazon, and this was one of two results. The other looks better, costs twice as much, and doesn't come with a return policy in case it doesn't work out so this was the natural choice. My dog still has full mobility (he's somewhere between late stage 2 coming up on stage 3 symptoms), but I wanted to get him a wheel chair right away so that he could get used to it before having to actually need it. While he doesn't like the wheelchair, he accepted it pretty quickly and painlessly. That said, its not a great product. It requires constant tightening of the set screws since they get loose after each use. The design causes the dog to waste a lot of energy lugging it around since it doesn't fit snugly against his body like the other brand's, superior design. In addition to that, he doesn't enjoy walking in it. He goes slow and doesn't have the same spunk he does when walking ' au natural '. Letting him loose at the park to run results in constant flipping over which is no fun for either of us (or his poor knees!). I'm not sure its the best design for healing CCL injuries, in which case I'd recommend the more expensive wheelchair from the competitor.Furthermore, the chair comes with two harnesses - an 'active' and a 'comfort' harness for the rear support. While the active harness fits fine, my dog won't tolerate the supposed 'comfort' harness, and its not hard to see why since it doesn't fit at all. The leg holes are extremely small and restrictive while the harness itself is super wide. Not comfortable at all.The whole thing is rickity, rattles, and makes a ton of noise, but its better than nothing. At least it keeps him from falling down during longer walks whenever his legs randomly buckle up underneath him. But I'm definitely building my own doggie cart out of PVC pipes that better fits my dog's needs. If you have the time and desire, they're not difficult or expensive to make yourself, and they'll fit your dog better than this one. But hey, this one's available with prime delivery to your doorstep.Better than nothing, but not by much.

Good Wheelchair. Works as advertised.
Our dog was diagnosed with DM (Degenerative Myelopathy) in December of ‘21. Slowly but surely she’s lost most of the mobility in her rear legs.We wanted a chair that was a decent quality that wouldn’t break our bank. Our dog is elderly at an estimated 13 years old and the addition of DM makes her life expectancy much shorter sadly. We love our dog and wanted to give her every opportunity to enjoy life. Her favorite pastime was walking through our woods and sniffing everything in sight. We received our chair less than a week ago and it does take time to get used too but she’s using it everyday now. Today she made it into the woods again for the first time in months. The wheelchair itself is an aluminum tube and bracket system. The pieces are connected with hex screws and metric nuts and bolts.Tools are included (but I used my own).Lots of people said the instructions were bad. I didn’t have any trouble understanding how to put the chair together. I found the instructions much better than the bad reviews led me to believe. They’re printed nicely in a booklet. Everything has a picture (if I had a criticism it would be that the angles of the photos made them hard to understand at times). The written instructions seem to follow basic English (again, better than I was led to believe). The chair itself is sturdy. It easily supports my 75lb dog and she’s fairly comfortable now that she’s getting used to it. The straps do have plastic clips, I can see where these could be improved (metal clips on metal posts would be better when making sliding clips. I can see where someone could easily break one, especially under the weight of the dog). The sports harness could be padded a little more (part of the reason for 4 stars instead of 5). It does pinch a little bit, but it doesn’t hurt the dog or leave a mark after a half hour. The front harness could have more adjustment and padding (it’s not terrible as is, more would just be better).I wasn’t missing any parts and everything fit the way it should. As a professional contractor and hobbyist mechanic, I believe this chair will last long enough to provide some much needed joy for my dog. And I understand that anything mechanical may need tightening and adjustments from time to time.My wife and I both agree a solid 4 stars is a fair review from our experience. We included video of our girl using the chair. If we have problems we will update our review.
