This a timeless game for young kids (2.5+). Granddaughter loves it. Cool sounds, flying butterflies, durable nets. Be sure to use new batteries and place on hard smooth surface. Carpet slows down fan intake. Had this for my kids now grandkids. Lots of laughs.

This is an absolute piece of hot garbage dumpster fire. Total waste of money!!!! Never been so disappointed with a toy in my entire life and I once owned Perfection.1st) The screw hole for the battery cover was completely stripped so couldn’t screw the door shut. The threads are plastic… PLASTIC THREADS, of course it’s going to strip!!2) Ears are junk/ barely don’t clip on and IMMEDIATELY fall off but I could look past that.3) I ended up using duct tape to get the battery door closed and when I went to turn it on THE FAN DIDN’T WORK!!!! I can’t make this stuff up if I tried.4) I bought this as a birthday gift for my nephew. He was SOOOO Excited when it saw the box and wouldn’t leave my side the whole time I was setting it up and after all this disaster of trying to get this piece of junk to work he was heartbroken devastated when I looked into his sweet adorable eyes and told him it was broken. He has since said he was going to run away he’s so upset and I had to bribe him with several cookies to get him to settle down.Overall 0 out of 5 stars if I could. Total letdown, your friends and family will despise you if you buy this and even worse you’ll be disappointed in yourself.JUST DON’T BUY THIS AND SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE!!!!

Before you buy, you should know this game requires 4 “C” batteries that are not included.There are only 3 nets in this version. (I remember older versions having four).I’m not sure if it was just a defective piece, but one of my elephant’s ears won’t stay on (see pictures). I tried everything I could to get it on, but it just keeps falling out without even touching the elephant. I would play without it, but I think it’s an important piece to the game because otherwise, air will escape through its ear hole, lessening the blowing power for the butterflies to go up the tube. I can get it to stay on for a few minutes of the game, but it doesn’t usually make it to the last butterfly flying out. The other ear is perfect, and I have no problems with it staying on whatsoever.Elefun the Elephant is a fun game that I remember playing as a kid. I wanted to share this fun experience with my daughter, but it just doesn’t seem as great of a game as I remember it. It’s probably just a rosy retrospective, but I don’t remember having to wait so long for the butterflies to come out. Even with full batteries, it’s a long wait for the butterflies to get going out of the tube and between bursts of one or two butterflies at a time (if you’re lucky). It might not actually be that long, but I notice for a child, it’s a bit too long to stay entertained, especially when it looks like butterflies are going up the tube but then fall back down. I’ve changed the batteries twice and still haven’t noticed a change in how well the butterflies pop out.Overall, my daughter does enjoy playing this game when the butterflies pop out, and she loves running around to collect the un-caught butterflies to refill the trunk. It’s still really worth seeing the happiness and joy on her face every time a butterfly flies out and she tries collecting it. I’m happy with my purchase mainly because of that.
