Great Product
Nice study back panel. Fits well on my 2007 Tacoma tailgate. The screw holes don't quite line up with the nylon nut mounts, but just enough for me to still screw in the body screws to install the panel. Works well so far, and definitely thicker build than the OEM back panel.

Easy Install, Good Fit and Looks Clean, Good Price
Took maybe 15 minutes total to remove the old cover and install this new one with an electric drill. Of course be careful with the plastic tabs when using an electric drill to avoid excessive tension and breaking them, but other than that its an easy peasy install at a fraction of the price

Sturdy and easy to install
I installed it myself 🙌 as a female was very proud! Love the way it looks and will be useful for upcoming camping trips. Very sturdy!

Works for 2023 3rd gen tacoma long bed
My advice if you use a powered driver is to be VERY careful when putting the old screws back in. The tacoma uses nylon blocks for backing on some of the screws, and I stripped out two of them during the re-install. It did not effect the install, but I'd say just tap the screws back in with a driver and hand-tighen them to finish.Instruction were a 'one page for every tailgate cover we make' kinda deal and came with a disclaimer that your cover might not match the hardware and diagrams in the instruction. That's the case for the Tacoma I have: there was no hardware included and I didn't need the philips head the instructions said I'd need.Still, it was dead simple to install, took maybe 25 minutes including the time to hunt up the right size star bit. All the removed hardware fit the new cover just fine, and the cover fits well. The holes all lined up. Final install looks great.

Great "budget" replacement.
Easy install. Quality product. Had it on for about 3 years now. It's a bit beat up but that's cause it's on my daily work truck. Huge improvement over the factory ribbed as I often have to climb in the back of my topper for equipment. Much easier on the knees. Absolutely worth it imo!

Perfect for 2007 tacoma prerunner.
Perfect fit for 2007 tacoma. Looks sleek and doesnt hurt your butt like the stock tailgate liner.

Great deal, excellent quality!
This review will be short and sweet. I’ve bought two of these so far for both of my Tacomas and have been impressed by both speed of shipping and quality. Super easy to install and about half the price of others on the market, can’t beat it!

A solid MEH, lesser quality hardware than OEM
I had two earlier Toyota pickups, before the Tacoma name and when the beds were metal. I had screwed plywood cut to fit onto the tailgates, simply to make loading stuff, furniture, etc. (sheet of plywood also cut to fit bed) easier. Now, decades later, the beds and tailgate backing are as we all know plastic...freakin knee killing corrugated plastic. I had been considering this Hooke Road upgrade and jumped when it was offered with a modest discount coupon. Here's the score:PROS:1) Blind dead easy installation2) Truly flat surface...at this age I can still hop my stern up onto the tailgate and sit...or pivot on one knee and get up to walk into the bed...CONS:1) I found that not all of the mounting holes in the cover lined up perfectly with the clips but, after all, there's a bunch of them so probably no biggie.2) Hooke Road supplies Phillips head screws about an inch longer than the Toyota OEM T 30 fasteners. I of course, despite the fact I'm retired and have all day and nothing to do, used a drill/driver to zip the screws in...resulting of course in chewing up a few screw heads. Also, not all screws fit beautifully into the countersunk holes in the cover. But homey ain't building a show truck here.3) The bottom of the OEM corrugated cover has a little lip that fits over the edge (the bottom, really) of the tailgate...Hooke Road deleted this, probably would have cost a whole honkin' smidge in increased tooling and materials...CONCLUSION:I wanted a flat tailgate so the choices were this; the competing similar product at twice the cost, or the plywood route again. Ruled out the $$$ option, got this one...seriously considered returning it and going plywood. I did not weigh this cover however it felt heavier than the OEM. Guess I'll keep this, without a doubt it looks better and more refined than plywood. Time will tell how it holds up; I'm rigging the truck for 'overlanding' so the tailgate will be seeing some stepping and me scooting my butt up onto it...I'd recommend this and at the same time, I'd recommend watching for a price drop.
