The product came well ahead of time. This barbeque IS well made as far as materials and if kept out of the rain should last about 25 years.But part of the design was really cheap and unnecessary for being built so strong. The air regulator, on the side of the unit was not even attached but just a steel plate that set into a groove in the unit and would fall off every time in use But the worst of all were the handles. This barbeque is VERY HEAVY, and the cheap turn of a wire handle will dig into your palms and be very painful . With the Giantex Charcoal Grill, at least the vent is hinged in place with a solid pair of handles built into it. I sent it back because at 71 it would have been impossible for me to carry it across a beach because is so heavy. (42 pounds) All in all the Giantex Charcoal Grill, has a better design.

I love that i can stack the grill different ways to use it as more than just simple one function grill by simply turning it upside down and rearranging the plates. Also can be used over a different heat source than just loading charcoal into it. ...with some creative thinking and restacking i decided a second one would have been ordered until you increased the price.. a second would have allowed me to bake or convert it into a smoker or a pizza oven. ( one is flipped and the other stacked on top) it would have allowed no loss in grilling space this way. . Very sturdy. Cleans easily. The only thing id change is how the big front metal plate is loose and maybe throw in some type of tool to grab the air flow and temperature vent plate. Stackable cast iron cooking is a great way to utilize the functionality of the potential cast iron has in bbqing, cooking, and baking. Too bad yall increased the price. I wont be buying bruntmore anything ever again now. Too expensive with almost doubling the price, just saying!

Mine is missing the bolts and nuts to attach the bottom plate and is missing the front plate to cover the charcoal area. Also the top grate is not the same as in the picture. The one that came with mine has legs that sit on the top ring and not down flush with the body. it does seem like the cast iron is good and solid make so i give it credit for that. Needs better quality control before leaves the factory but it is from China so what do you expect.

On the bright side, this grill appears to be very sturdy and it's actual appearance is the same as what is depicted. Although assembly was simple and straight forward, I think it would've been appropriate for the manufacturer to provide instructions for both assembly and usage. This item came with neither. Also, the bolts to attach the base were missing. When I tried to contact the manufacturer's customer service department to request the bolts, I found that the web address on the package was invalid. A Google search yielded neither a web address or phone number. I'm going to keep the grill because it looks like a good product and I was able to furnish my own bolts.

It's just two of us, so this grill is the perfect size....I kept buying charcoal grills, but they wouldn't hold the heat long enough to bake potatoes....this one holds the heat very nicely!

The video review that is available is actually from somebody that doesn’t really know what they’re doing, first of all, she had a pile of briquettes that was a handful size for a small child for the amount of meat she was trying to cook, that amount may have worked if you’re grilling vegetables, in a very tight space, because in the video, I can see they were all bunched up in the middle. The quality of the grill has nothing to do with its grilling, it is the quality and amount of charcoal that is used!!!! so this woman obviously has no idea how to use a charcoal grill. I purchased this grill to take to the keys for a week. I cooked many meals on it, steak, burgers, hotdogs, fish and shrimp and it worked phenomenally, however, my only complaint is I did not receive the exact grill that was advertised, which was OK. I did reach out to the seller and they promised a partial refund which I never received but it’s fine The grill is still great.

The received parts do not allow for the grilling grate to fit flush with the body as pictured, which in turns does not allow for the vent door to be installed. It is also missing the bolts that attach the body to the base. The replacement that was sent also has the same problem.
