Replacement King Kutter Disc Harrow Steel Box Bearing Kit. King Kutter Code 504110

The bearing was identical to my original King Cutter bearing except for the bolts. King Cutter used 1/2" bolts and this bearing uses 5/8" bolts. No hill for a stepper, I opened the mounting holes and made it work. Just something to be aware of.

Ordered two. Both came nicely packaged. Had to work on one as it had some rough spot inside that grabbed. Fixed now.

Purchased it just from only looking at the picture. My old unit did not have any identifying information. This unit fit like a glove.

Perfect fit and worked as advertised.

Bolts are the wrong size, won't fit thru the frame slots in disc. They sent 1/2" bolts and 7/16 are the size the slots were machined to accept. Grease zerk fittings would take no grease at all. Had to get different ones and grease flowed easily.

The square opening for the shaft had metal imperfections from the cast mold and had to be filed down to allow the shaft to run through it. The company providing these should check the openings to make sure they are up to spec. The second one in the package was fine.

Do not buy this. This is some knock off, low, low quality crap. I have replaced these before and this is not a King Kutter part as stated. Which should be disclosed, but instead they use a King Kutter part number. Do not fall for it as I did. In addition, it arrived rusty. I have since bought the OEM King Kutter part and replaced it. Unfortunately it sat in a box until I was going to replace and it's past the return window. I'll machine it out, but I'm not sure it's worth the time....it's that poor of a product. Go to King Kutter and pay a little more to save a lot of time.
