My cholesterol levels have been steadily increasing over the years, one or two points at every wellness lab results ... to the point they were over 200 for several years. A friend suggested I try krill oil and, to my surprise, my cholesterol dropped over 20 points after being on it for six months (only change I made during that time was the addition of krill oil, 1000 mgs per day). No fishy after taste; caps are a bit on the largish size so may be a consideration if you have difficulty swallowing big capsules. Will be interesting to see what my labs are after being on this a year.

My right ankle has been swollen for a good 9 months, and recently my left ankle started to swell. It was at the point where it was painful to bend the ankle in certain directions. The skin was too tight. I took naproxen sodium for approximately 3 months, to no avail. The only relief at all was when I put my legs way up in the air for about 30 minutes. This is my third week on the Antarctic krill, and my ankles are practically normal in size. I can hardly believe it. In this heat, they would have been at their largest size. There is no way I can prove the product took away the swelling, but I don’t know anything else that could take credit for doing this. I consider this a near-miraculous cure. I will continue to take the product and see what the future holds. Yes, it is expensive, but nothing compared to the cost of blood clots to the brain! I will update this review if anything changes for the worse.

Capsules are too large for me. This product did contain all the recommended Omega 3 's that my physician wanted included in the supplement I need to take. Many others did not.

consistent quality

This is the second brand of krill oil I've bought. Both are very good and do what I bought them for. This is the seventh time I am submitting a review for the products. Previous six reviews have been rejected and Amazon refuses to tell me why. This time all I will say is do a search on "benefits of krill oil" and believe what you find, because the product does work as the proponents say it does.

I have started myself and my dog on the krill oil supplements and my dog’s skin is no longer dry and flaky from his shampoo. His vet recommended krill and so did my chiropractor for my joints. So great that Tuffy and I can share these supplements!
