This is the best set for any Lego lover, this is just a Fun set . It's jam packed with mini figures ( and who doesn't love those) along with a wonderful city park theme, a bench, picnic table, a hotdog vendor, a boy riding a bike , kids playing soccer and even a baby in a stroller, it's just a great set, perfect for a starter set, or for role playing. One of my favorite sets , you'll be so glad you bought it!!

I stumbled across this set and it was PERFECT! There are so many various characters and there ...
My daughter wanted people figurines to go with her Legos. I did some research and tried to refine my searches by only figurines; it was challenging AND the ones I did find were expensive. I stumbled across this set and it was PERFECT! There are so many various characters and there are more figurines than I would have bought for her initially. It even comes with a baby and stroller figurine, not to mention a painter hold a paint can and roller!!! This set is super versatile and practical for boys and/or girls. For anyone looking to add accessories to their Lego collection, I would highly recommend the Lego CITY Town Fun in the Park set. I would buy again for gifts.

A must have set for any LEGO builder wanting to populate their LEGO city.
Every LEGO city needs LEGO people... and this set most definitely helps out. The typical price per LEGO minifig is around $2, so if you're able to get this set for under $30, then you're getting a pretty decent deal. Additionally, with this set you get lots of 'play' scenarios that will keep you or your little bricker entertained for hours. This set has been available for a while now, so I would imagine the remaining availability of this set may be shortlived. I would suggest grabbing a few of these sets before they aren't available anymore. Especially considering the newer equivalent set is a beach scene, which has limitations when trying to populate a LEGO city. This set is also the first set to feature a LEGO baby... WOW.Happy bricking.

YES!
So many outstanding minifigures for those trying to start a park or add to a town. This set alone has me and my two grade-schoolers working every night to expand what is now an enormous Lego park with a street and some shops. We've even added a pool (vintage baseplate) and treehouse (available here). This has sparked so many fun ideas for us as well as hilarious role play that is just priceless for a mom. And speaking of price, this set is a *great* deal on minifigs and accessories. Try buying them used! You could pay 5-10 each for the more interesting people. Add some fountains, trees and shrubs and you'll drift away to imagination land too.

Great variety of characters, kids love it!
Great variety of characters and accessories. A nice addition that allows the kids to further stretch their imagination and adds extra fun to playtime. The baby, bottle, and stroller is by far the favorite of this set (and extra cute). The grandma and grandpa are great as it the wheelchair and pet. All examples of what make this set totally worth it!

mini lego city
Who better to review a Lego set than the kids actually using it? Here is what my children (ages 9 and 7) had to say:"This is a very very fun set, though you can lose the pieces very easily. Make sure to keep the small pieces away from younger brothers and sisters. This set has lots and lots of Lego minifigures, including a grandma, a grandpa, a mommy, a daddy, a baby with a bottle and stroller, a man in a wheelchair, three children, a lady mowing the lawn and a person painting a fence. Also included in the set were a dog, a fence, two trees, a bench, a merry-go-round that can actually spin, a soccer goal and soccer ball, and a hot dog stand and a bus stop. There was also a picnic table with a basket including picnic supplies. Overall, it is a fun set to play with!"

Lots of minifigures and lots of fun
I purchased this set for my 7 year old son who loves Legos. Given his age, he enjoys the imaginative play more than the building which is what made this set so great. There is some simple building involved with this set (picnic table, merry-go-round, hot dog stand, etc.), but the best part about this set is the amount of minifigures! There are 14 regular sized minifigures and one baby minifigure. The baby is really cute, but, probably due to the small size, the baby's arms and legs don't move, only the head. There are also some fun and unique pieces such as the dog, bike, wheelchair, baby stroller, lawnmower, etc.

Awesome People Set!
This LEGO set is just awesome. It includes a ton of different people and activities which can be expanded upon with your child’s imagination. It is well worth it to have so many options for creative play. My kids love building their own LEGO worlds and inventing cars and buildings for them. These people add a new layer of fun!
