Update on review:The seller worked with me to find a reasonable solution for my issue.I did put my old drop cloth bed skirt on the bed and I like it much better than without the bed skirt. I didn’t like seeing under the bed…just my preference. There is a noticeable chipped pain area on the headboard. I have reached out to seller, but a solution has not been found to repair, replace, or give a reasonable partial refund for the damaged headboard. Therefore I give a three star review.

I wanted a bed that was sturdy with a higher weight limit. Our last he'd had 3 wood slats which didn't hold up well to kids playing and adults. This bed is very sturdy. I almost put it together by myself but trying to hold it while using the drill needed a second pair of hands at times. Instructions were clear. All the parts were complete with some few extra screw parts which was nice. The finish was clean. I used a drill with an allen wrench adapter which made it so much easier to get a secure fit. We used a box spring but it's not meant to be used with one. The bed is quite high. I will probably remove it. Good storage underneath. I will update if any issues arise.

This bed was packaged very well and the instructions were easy to follow. We used the tools enclosed and it took about 1.5 hours to assemble. It’s very sturdy and exactly what we were hoping for.

The bed looks nice and assembly wasn't too difficult. We did have a problem with one of the center legs having a defect that would not allow it to accept the bolt so basically the center of the bed was not supported without some blocks of wood. I contacted the seller through their website (phone call did not work for me) and they responded immediately via email. After a few back-and-forth emails giving them pictures and a marked-up pdf they sent a new part which has worked perfectly. I would recommend this bed and this seller.

This is a nice bed once assembled. One person can do it in about an hour, two would be preferred. It is solid and sturdy.
