Makes brown marks on the bat
Nice heavy bat mallet... but when you're knocking in your brand new bat, it's really frustrating to see the brown marks from a painted(!) mallet. Why on earth is it painted!!

Painted darker to look more premium
Not sure why it is painted a dark brown, leaves marks on the bat that needed to be sanded off after use.

Good weight but since it is colourd it leaves marks on the bat. Would be so much better if polished instead of painted

This is not a mallet
I do not know why this product is referred to as a cricket bat mallet; it is a cricket bat cone for fitting cricket bat grips. If there are 2 separate products being sold i.e. a bat cone and a bat mallet they should be advertised separately, it gives the impression you are buying a cone and a mallet. There are many bat cones advertised on Amazon for a cheaper price.

Okay but could be better
While it does the job, the paint comes off and transfers onto the bat when knocking in which isn't ideal, not sure why they paint the mallet.
