After 1 week the basket cracked and collapsed so it was wedged in. Handled also snapped. Disappointing. At least where I have two I can see if I can get a better quality one (I hope it buys me a week). It may just be the design of it but I am thinking the plastic on this one may be inferior to the brand name one as I got a season out of the brand name basket.

Cleaned the pool and thought of getting cheap skimmers to replace the OEM. These come in a two pack and they work as long as you dont have too many leaves stuck. Once its stuck it will break the skimmer and now you cant get the basket out. It will get stuck since you dont have a hook.

A humble request to the Seller, please don't charge $11 for this cheap plastic basket (its only worth $2 (being generous). Its always swimming or flipped over leaving all the trash go into skimmer or pool. I had to literally put a rock on it so it can stay in its place.

Basket works ok until it gets full of debris and gets sucked down into skimmer and breaks. The top ledge needs to be a little bigger so it will cover the edge of the skimmer intake.
