But this one and not the more expensive units. It simple to use and installs in minutes. The other more expensive units are a waste

Easier to program than the previous version.
Overall, it is a very good unit. The one thing that would be nice is a little LED that comes on when the backup battery is depleted. All your programming goes to default if you lose power and the backup battery has died. I only bring it up because it has happened to me in the past: much more diligent about replacing it every year. That is the only negative thing I can say about this unit for me, it is much easier to program than the previous unit and hope it lasts as long.

Just in the nick of time, quick install and effective
Received this quickly which is great since AZ temps can be high and our other one had failed. It was a plug in unit and hubs modified to a direct wire. Better looking than the average irrigation box.
