Vintage Square Progressive Multifocal Presbyopic Glasses, Anti-Blue Light Glasses for Men Women Readers (Clear Gray +0.00/+2.00 Magnification)

Well after trying out like 6 different pairs of progressive blue-blocking readers from Amazon and elsewhere, these arrived today. I was impressed when I opened the package and saw the little utility keychain screwdriver, lanyard (broke in 2 seconds), test card, test LED, plastic hard case (decent but ugly IMO), cleaning cloth (very nice actually), and of course the glasses.These lenses do not have a strong "bubble"/spherical distortion in the lower portion of the lens like some (which is a HUGE problem for me). They definitely DO have the reading zone which can cause distortions but nothing near the level I've seen with nearly every other pair I've tried. The blue blocking abilities are quite evident and seems effective. There is no noticeable tint either to the lens appearance (looking at someone wearing these), or when wearing them yourself (and looking through) the lenses.Some have mentioned they think these have a +.5 at the top or 1/2 of whatever power you select. I'm not sure whether this is the case or not to be honest. The top portion of these for me do not seem to have any diopters added, which is what I want. I wear contacts, and my vision is 20/20 with them, and I just wanted the reading and blue blocking capabilities. Looks like I've finally got some keepers.The frames are well-made and mine are true to the photo shown here. I got the black/purple, and the "purple" is more of a subtle mauve/lavender tint to the lower-half of the frames and not really noticeable at all when wearing them.I would not hesitate to purchase these again, and in fact I'm buying a second pair right now in another color to leave in my office or change up when I feel like it.VERY happy so far. I think you might be too, if you give them a try.

These are beautiful and sturdy.

While these glasses are quite cute, come with some nice accessories and a blue light tester included…the lens quality is just bad. I love the concept of the transition but it just does not work out. It’s blurry no matter where you look, and I really tried to make these work. Would not recommend.

This pair arrived as described and while they are not made of super durable material they work well and I like the style. I suppose the longevity will depend on how rough or careful you are with your glasses. They are cost effective in comparison to the $$ spent on Plano/progressive readers from the optical dept. I purchased this same pair a few weeks back but received the wrong color and magnification that had been relabeled and obviously a return.

I am so impressed with these glasses. I wore trifocals for years, and after spending >&400 for a cheap pair of glasses that were broken the first week. So after returning to my retired pair of glasses for the past year, it is nice to get some glasses I can read and see the leaves on the tree.

I have an expensive pair of readers I got from the eye doctor that are progressive lenses. I love them but they do not have blue light filtering, so I wanted to try to find an inexpensive pair of progressive lens readers that also had the blue light filtering feature. I have tried several pairs on Amazon and finally have found the ones that are perfect for me. For reference, I have a 1.5 magnification, and my sight is 20/20 at distance, so i didn't need anything too strong. These are the perfect magnification, have little to no distortion to the sides (a huge problem with most of the glasses I've tried), and the different "regions" in the lenses are positioned well (at least for my use)-- not too high and not too low. The blue light blocking also seems to be working well; I don't feel the eye strain that I typically do with my regular glasses. It also came with a lot of cool extras like an eyeglass screwdriver and a blue light test kit... One thing to note- they are on the larger size. I don't mind this, but some people may not like that look. The only thing I didn't love was the case which, while cool because it is collapsible, is really a little too bulky for a purse when it is uncollapsed... Over all I'm so, so pleased and i will definitely buy these again.
