The media could not be loaded. I am an artist so I wanted to up my skills for better portrait drawings so bought this skull to study. It turned out to be extremely useful. It is made of a sturdy material so it is pleasant to handle. It is slightly on the heavier side but as it is the same size as a real skull it makes sense. Also note: if you drop it, it will probably break badly as it seems a slightly fragile so need to handle with care. Otherwise this skull has incredible detail and helped me learn the bone structure very well (there are numbers on the bones that you could cross reference with the paper attached in the package). Thanks to this skull I’m having a much easier time to do my shading as it helped me understand where the features curve inward, where they the fall in etc. You can even open the jaw and the top of the skull to see all the little bones there! Therefore I would definitely recommend this - the quality is superb.

This skull arrived damaged. On one side all pins were snapped off the cranium/top and stuck in the base of the skull. There was some splinter/crack damage around one of the areas where a pin had snapped off and stuck in base. Looks like a sideways knock did this.I don't have inclination or energy to sort out return. :)Otherwise, it is a fine looking and very detailed model.
