Lightweight and very comfortable
Like an improved version of the Palladium Pampa. They fit more comfortably in the toe box (slightly wider), are incredibly lightweight, and very flexible. Just got them in today so only tested in the house thus far but I plan to do yard work tomorrow and take them on a couple hikes to see how they hold up and will revisit the review. Cheers

Probably better than the Palladiums. Time will tell
As a 40+ year Palladium wearer I was at first slow to order "Farm Blue " replacements. I went ahead and ordered a set when my oldest set of Palladiums just got too bad. I have been pleasantly shocked. First, they run larger. You can wear hiking socks with them. The "foot box" allows more toe movement and seems to breathe better. The laces are a good bit longer so a wrap at boot top is almost a necessity. But that is better than the alternative short laces that have come on my Palladiums lately. The provided insole is more comfortable and amazingly, these folks finally remembered what the loop on the back of the boot is for!! This one is large enough to get your finger into and pull on the boot. The last three or four sets of Palladiums had a loop so tiny that it was practically worthless. I would recommend you spray them with a water-resistant spray early. Like Palladiums, they practically soak up rain and dew on the grass. I will be spraying mine today. And my biggest criticism of Palladiums for years has been how slick they are when crossing wet stones in a creek or on wet decking... The Farm Blue tread feels softer under foot and seems to grip wet things better. I give them a big thumbs up and hope they can last as long as my oldest Palladiums which I have used for dirty work for over 20 years.

Cool Boots, Awesome Service from Merchant.
I like everything about these Boots.Got them in Green, Size 12.Usually wear Size 11.5 or 12, mostly 12 and still room for thick socks. Fit well with thin socks also.Had them in for about a couple weeks now, beating them up, long days at work, outside and been Cold (14-35 Degrees Fahrenheit). They aren’t insulated and I’ve had on thinner socks, feet only get cold when I’m not moving. The don’t make feet sweat when extra active so they must breath well. Not made for cold temps but will work, not insulated. Only waterproof to about the bottom lace if you spray them maybe more?? No problems, not falling apart, feet don’t hurt, look good, zero complaints after 12-14 Days of 14-20hr Days and on my feet whole time. Company is very Helpful as well. Had an issue on website where I couldn’t pick Size and an Individual at Company went above and beyond to assist with the issue that wasn’t really his fault.I’d give the Boots and Vender Selling them more Stars if I could. Pretty much a Perfect 10. Highly Suggest. Enjoy.

Roomy toe box, poor quality control.
These. are a decent value, and quite comfortable. They are not hiking boots, but I do wear them around my property and they work well on varied terrain. not waterproof obviously.Update: 4 to 1 star. Significant defect after limited use. Stitching is coming apart on both boots. This isn’t because they are hard to put on, my 11s are actually a bit large so they slide right on. See photo. Also, they brag about having half sizes but the 10.5s, my preferred size, has been out of stock for years. Disappointing.

Good, but not a hiking shoe.
These are terrific, nice looking, and simple shoes. However, that is from a fashion standpoint. These are not hiking shoes. I am an avid hiker and I would only suggest wearing supportive insulated shoes. These are not that.I removed one star because of the lack of insulation and padding, even though they are very sturdy shoes. in order to wear these shoes longer than 2-3 miles, an additional insole would be required, which I will purchase. I am not wearing these shoes for hiking, but for flat-terrain walks in New York City.An additional star was removed because, even though they softened up as they broke in, they still have pressure points that irritate my feet. For example, there is an extra piece of material sewn onto the underside of the tongue that puts pressure on the top of my foot. I hope this softens up and I get used to it. it is not enough pain to avoid wearing, but I am conscious of it. (At first, the crease created on top of the toe box area with each step was pressing into the top of my toes, but subsided as they broke in.) These issues are not deal breakers, but should not be contended with when purchasing shoes at this price point. To reiterate, these are fantastic shoes for fashion purposes. They look great! They seem durable, but only time will tell. They broke in adequately after a 3 mile walk, but will require an insole for my feet... perhaps these are a little wide. Typically, I wear a size 11D and I am fine right out of the box., whereas these shoes are not. That being said, I like them, but not for hiking. Some people may find these shoes perfect for trekking, but maybe they are not aware of the comfort and support of great hiking shoes. I feel bad giving 3 stars because these shoes are well made and stylish, but they are marketing them as "hiking" shoes and I think this is not accurate. Given the conditions I have expressed, I would buy them again, and recommend them. I like and appreciate what the company is doing. I would love to see the company offer these shoes constructed of recycled materials.***Update***I have removed an insole from my Salomon Hiking Boots and placed them in these. The fit is more cushiony and comfortable. I will gladly wear them with the additional insole, but still, not for hiking.

Simple and Practical
Mainly bought these because they are canvas, had a fair price and really like the color. I work in a State Forest and have worn them for about a month now. Feel pretty sturdy and are lightweight. Might not be everyone's ideal "boot" but so far has worked out for me. I haven't stood in really deep water but the sole seems to be water resistant so far with rain and walking through puddles. The inside of the shoe has a small peice of fabric to match the color but those just wore right out. Not a big deal for me. Would recommend for price, style and practicality. I wouldn't necessarily wear these for a long strenuous hikes, I suppose you could because of the high top, but for my job they're holding it down pretty well. Thanks Farm Blue!
