Everyman's Library Roald Dahl Collected Stories

Stories are top notch Dahl, but this edition DOES NOT INCLUDE ALL SHORT STORIES
I am a big Roald Dahl fan but I was surprised to find that this edition does not, in fact, include all of his short stories despite this book's description stating that "the present volume includes for the first time all the stories in chronological order". This was a disappointment.Missing short stories include:- Lucky Break- The Boy Who Talked with Animals- Princess Mammalia- Mildenhall Treasure- Wonderful Story of Henry Sugar (ancestor of Alan Sugar?)- The Swan- The Princess & The Poacher

Crackerjack
I bought this particular edition many years ago, as a school student. Sadly, time took its toll on that particular copy. After recently watching Matilda on TV, I was remindedof Dahl's literary and creative genius and decided to re-acquire this volume. The book itself, is an Everyman library edition, very well bound and printed and a pleasure to read. This has ALL of Dahl's work for adults. A copy worth adding to one's collection, whether you are a Dahl fan or simply a lover of great literature well presented. Five stars all the way.

Damaged
Although interesting reading the book arrived in an abominable state. A lot of pages were crumbled. Luckily I still have a very old book-press, but the overall result is not very neat. Taking into consideration that the two former books I ordered also arrived damaged, I will not order any books any more. A shame!

A masterful storyteller
I’ve only read a few so far, but the quality is excellent. Truly a master of his craft.
