Italian Prosciutto di Parma DOP Boneless | Aged 24 Months| 16 Pounds Approx.

We take bits at a time… it keeps very well in our refrigerator.. used for wines and liquors and foods that need to stay longer times.. we serve it with Spanish manchego, or other Italian or Spanish cheeses … and fresh fruit.. great combination.. the fat we fry it and use bits in our cooking to give it a special flavor. My husband makes it from a fresh ham.. but I like this one better. We have a slicer that graduates the thickness…9ur friends love it

I purchased this product 3+ weeks ago and sent a reply to customer service the moment I tasted the 1st slice. The thinly sliced piece did not melt in my mouth as typical Prosciutto Di Parma should. This product was dry, brittle and so overly salty that it was not even ettible. While customer service did reply immediately, it took 3 weeks and prompting for them to say there was nothing they could do. Considering how expensive Prosciutto Di Parma is, please think twice about spending your money on a product that is not ettible. I purchase Proscuitto Di Parma on a regular basis from several unnamed online resellers and never have I had one like this. I will take my loss and no doubt never shop at a retailer that can not stand behind the products they sell. I could have just disputed the charge on my cc but figured that the company would do the right thing since I sent an email with pictures minutes after I broke it open. I sincerely hope this review helps others when they are looking to purchase this product or other products from this company.

I ordered several times 18 months aged prosciutto from this producer and I really liked what was delivered to me. So this time I decided to try 24 months aged one and I have to say, it did not disappoint. Great flavor and nice balance of taste. Will definitely order this again!

I’m not sure why but this one smells and tastes rancid. I’m really disappointed and it’ll probably be the last time I try buying meat on Amazon! If I had just bought this from a grocery store and paid $30 more I could have taken it back… but now I stuck with a giant hunk of rancid meat.
