This is the same Stephen's Chalk that they had when I was at School. This is the softer dustier chalk that is slightly more dusty and doesn't last as long as the Crayola/Anti-dust chalk, but at 1/10th of the price I am delighted with my Gross (144) of chalk. Amazingly not one was broken. As for another review that claimed they were all sizes, these chalks are tapered and packaged up-down alternation, so are the same size. Occasionally catch the board in the screeching fashion, where the harder anti-dust chalk is less likely to do that.

I bought this for bowls and it's a good price. We can go through a lot of chalk at the bowls club and this is a lot cheaper than the spray stuff which dries up after a while.

Much lighter density than real chalk and has an aeriated structure. It wears quickly and snaps even more easily. Very fragile. Ok for children to use on a paving slab.

Ordered 2 boxes, arrived quickly, well packaged, had none broken on delivery which is amazing in itself. Very happy with product.
