If you don't know how to sharpen a knife, then this will come in very handy for cutting tomatoes as it easily penetrates the outer skin of the tomatoes without deforming it. This stays sharp forever so long as you don't use it on a rough surface like a marble or stainless-steel cutting board. Apart from cutting tomatoes it has very limited use like cutting lemons. It can cut fruits and other light stuff when needed but that can be done by any paring knife and does not excel in that as it is not suitable for peeling the skin of fruits. The thin curved profile of the blade makes the cutting experience interesting and different, and the tip can be used for removing unwanted stuff in a very precise manner. This is not a must have item but very good to have if you use tomatoes extensively in your dishes.

I needed knives for my restaurant with green handle and the product page showed them to have green handles hence ordered but I received them with red handles so had to return as we follow hygiene guidelines of using green handles knife for veg food
