Awesome knife.The hold is comfortable and the knife is long and well balanced.The handle has a good grip and is firmly fixed to the knife.This knife is surely gonna last a long time and I am going to take it outside with me on my field trips and enjoy it during trekking and cooking outside...

Material
Knife is ok but material i could not confirm and black portion is painted not oil blackening. It should have been oil blackening to prevent rust.

The knife came very untidy and blunt. There were chips all over the blade. I had to re-profile the blade. The revets aren't copper they are simple rivets, the wood handle is also very cheap and feels as if it will come off. Whenever you cut anything with it, a black slurry leaves on the food item. I have sanded it couple of times but this always happens. I've kept it for agricultural purpose now than food items. Cannot trust the metal and the reaction it is creating.
