Great Affordable Coffee Machine
I've had this coffee machine for a few months now and I can say that it's really held up well! It's a great, and cheaper, alternative to other coffee machines out there and I haven't had any problems with using Nespresso capsules or any other Nespresso original compatible capsules.I would flag that it comes with an EU plug so you do need to purchase an adaptor in order to use it in the UK, you'd need a two pin to three pin adaptor. I got these on Amazon as well, and it's worked fine with the machine.

Brilliant! Just need to be able to wire a plug
This machine is brilliant, was a bit dubious at first for £60 but so much better than expected. Nespresso have made it quite difficult to buy an older style machine now they have introduced the vertuo pods, and I didn’t want to be trapped into buying those when there’s so many great companies supplying the original pods. The main thing to note is this comes with a continental Europe plug, however as long as you can change a plug, it’s a 5 min job to snip it off and fit a new three pin one. Yes this probably invalids any warranty, but for £60 I’ll take the risk. Only thing that’s a shame is it has a huge water tank at the back and it doesn’t swivel like some machines, so it is quite deep on a counter top. The XXL pods for making two coffees at once can be found online from France, not too expensive.

Lovely coffee maker!!
This is a really beautiful coffee maker. It looks slick and stylish and makes a wide range of gorgeous coffees for me throughout the week (you can do hot chocolate and fruit teas as well!). It has a very high end feel and heats up quickly. My only negative is that the seller on here did NOT mention that it comes with an EU plug and NOT a uk one (which I don’t even think is legal to sell here) which as it’s hardwired in I had to cut the end off and replace - and even then I wasn’t confident whether it would work. It did - but not until after I blew several fuses trying to find the right voltage. I’ve knocked off a star for that - but that’s down to the seller and not Amazon themselves, or the product - which is fantastic.

Fantastic little machine
Absolutely love everything about this machine, it has a good size drip tray and a pod collection, so glad I came across this one, definitely worth buying, fast shipping service too so cannot fault

Just as good as all the other mor3 expensive machines I've had
Great machine, it'd good looking too. I read the reviews prior to buying and it seems everyone complained about the euro plug, it now comes with an adaptor. Mt only complaint is that the machine was reduces in price in the time it took to come, gutted, but I'd still recommend it

We need to get the plug adapter to UK but it's ok.
Perfect to have at home. Coffe for two . Dunno where to buy the XXL pods but it's ok to me to get the " normal" size ones. Really liked it. Coffee in the ideal temperature and fast. Loved.

XXL pods from Maxicoffee
Been using Philips Barista for few years, on 2nd machine. The mechanism that 'senses' normal or XXL capsules can get stuck after much use but a little 'prod' with end of wooden spoon releases! As for units fitted with euro plug, if you can change and fit UK plug no problem. The XXL 'double' capsules I obtained via Maxicoffee at very reasonable price. All-in-all a very satisfactory experience and L'or UK do nice coffee in standard 'Nespresso' style pods too. Hopefully they may eventually make XXL available in UK!
