According to a 2011 study, monk fruit has been used in TCM for centuries to make hot drinks that relieve sore throats and reduce phlegm. The fruit’s mogrosides are said to be anti-inflammatory, and may help prevent cancer and keep blood sugar levels stable.I used 11 pieces of Luo Han Guo Natural Dried Siraitia Grosvenorii Core Tea to make tea (I counted after I spilled them into the cup as it's my first time using this product), then just added boiling water.The tea smelles nutty (like peanut), tastes sweet and pleasant.This is a product of China, the shelf life 24 months on the label, and on the lid the manufactured date is 12/1/2022 so it will good until 12/1/2024 as it showed on the plastic bag container.Price is pretty high for this tea, but since it's hard to find monk fruit in your local market, I guess it's OK if you want to use it as a healthier alternative to sugar or artificial sweeteners.
