This clip-on lamp was just what I needed to provide additional bright reading light without taking up additional space. For a cute yet affordable reading light, I recommend.Brightness:It's extremely bright and perfect for reading tiny print or doing hard to see tasks/crafts/projects. Of course, the closer it is/the brighter. So for reading purposes, I recommend this only if you are going to place the light no more than an arms length away (even closer if you have vision problems). Any further than that, then the light gets diluted by distance and won't impress. The light is your basic cold white LED lighting. Not warm.Flexibility:The bendable gooseneck arm is completely flexible so you can bend it into any position you want. You can also turn the head as well which allows you to target where you want the light to go so it won't put glare elsewhere. The gooseneck could have been stronger (some positions didn't hold up as well as others), but for price point it does the job. Although the feel of it is far from premium, if you like the look of it that won't matter.Power:The lamp has a non removable USB cord attached to it. You can power the lamp via an available usb port on a nearby device (ex. Found on desktops, laptops, modems, cable boxes, tvs, game consoles, charging stations, etc). Or... You can power it with the included AC wall adapter if you want to plug it directly into an electrical outlet.Size:The length of the lamp from the base to the tip end of the light is 17 inches. The cord from the base to USB plug is 4 feet 9 inches long.Settings:There is only an off/on button (no other additional features/settings such as dimmable or multi light options). The on/off switch is a push button located on the cord at 2 ft 9 inches from the lamp base.The Clamp:The clamp has rubber tabs on the inside to provide a no slip grip. Although the clamp is lightweight plastic, the lamp is so light that there is no issue with the clamp supporting it. But it's also important that the clamp has a secure grip.The clamp opens to 3 inches maximum but can only fully clamp on to anything up to 2 inches wide. If you attempt to clamp it to anything a bit wider, it can't fully grasp on... so there is potential that it may shift out of place.There is a cutout on the base to wall mount it if you wanted to (no screws included).It is not meant to stand on its own without utilizing the clamp (you can try... But it tips over too easily).

It's perfect to clamp on the table in front of me to make beads! And it's just the right brightness!

The light produced is not bright white. One can read with it, and I liked the shape and design of the light. Plus they threw in an a/c converter!

This thing is small amd cheep but does work well. I use it to sit and do my diamond art work.

I loved this light. It was very handy with it’s squeeze mount end. The light is very bright, and if too bright can be pointed in any direction so it’s not too bright.Since it first arrived, the wires going into the rocker switch have had “play” in them. I ignored it until recently when there became too much play, and the cord started shorting out. Eventually it shorted out too much and I threw it out. I liked it enough that I bought another one. However, the new one has the same issue — there is “play” in the electrical wires connecting the rocker switch, which makes me feel unsafe.

This light is brighter then expected it does look cheaply made and is very light and is flexible

I'm a paraplegic in a hospital bed and got this so I could see better to color and draw. It worked perfectly for about a week and then it would go turn off if the cord moved in the slightest. It quickly got to the point that if the cord was not positioned just right and held perfectly still, it would not stay on. Less than a month after purchase, it stopped working completely and I'm a paraplegic so my only return option is ups pickup and they want to charge almost as much as the lamp, just to pick it up.
