Q: Could this be used to vacuum seal a bean bag?

It doesn't vac seal it just goes over furniture,it does have a sticky part along the bottom but mine never reached to do that,

Q: Is this just a flat piece of plastic or is it shaped to fit over a sofa?

Big plastic bag not shaped for sofa , use of packing tape required to fold ,stick and shape , did the job though!
