This kit is a mixed bag. Some components are fine and work as advertised (such as the panels, mounts, etc.), however, other aspects of the kit (as purchased) were unsafe. I had a number of charging issues that impacted the system for several months during which I contacted support periodically, never fully resolving the issue. Meanwhile, we managed to minimize our use of the system. About a year after I bought the kit (maybe 9 months after installing), the manufacture issued a safety recall for the included charge control, citing a fire risk. Good on them for recalling the item, but big yikes! I was offered replacement ExpertPower charge controller (the one currently included), but my faith in the product was compromised. Working with Amazon's customer service (thank you!), I worked out a solution that I felt was acceptable and have replaced the charge controller with a Victron unit (which I am very satisfied with). Today, we continue to be leery of the system (particularly the inverter due to the issues others have reported) and use it sparingly - not an ideal place to be, but there you have it. Would I buy it again? No, I would not.

Recalled it do to fire hazard did not know because I bought it to live off grid. Apparently they sent letters to the address I had it sent to but heard nothing from it on the app thing burnt down everything and refused to at least give me money back because they sent letters F$&@ this company

This kit is a great idea. BUT I won't suggest you to get it. I have had it about a month now and it still is not up and running. Let me explain. The kit doesn't have any battery cable for the 4 battery's. The solar panel mounts are only good for a concomposition roof, you get (6) solar panels but the solar panel connections adapter is only good for 3 panels, so that is sometimes else you need to buy if you are wanting to hook-up all 6 panels. You get no fuses, no circuit breaks, as they recommend. And get this, the wiring for the battery controller to the battery's is so large that it doesn't even fit into the battery control... So I am hoping that I get the rest of the parts I need to finish putting it together soon.

This product looks to be good quality. I purchased it for off grid camping. However.This kit will NOT run a 15 amp Rv AC unit. Maybe 2 hrs if you are lucky. Ran my refrigerator most days but sometimes even during full sun failed to run Rv refrigerator for 5-6 hours. 6 amp fridge.Easy to install. But is only good for running lights and some days ran the refrigerator just fine.I must say to their credit they did let me return the system pretty much hassle free for a refund.If you buy this system keep the boxes as you may need them to return the product.

BARELY KEEPS LIGHTS ON THEN THEY BLAME YOU FOR WHY IT DON'T WORK RIGHT....BUYER BEWAREMY $300 HARBOR FREIGHT KIT WORKS WAY BETTER... AND I HAVE BOUGHT 6 KITS FOR OUR HOMESTEAD BUILDINGS FROM HARBOR FREIGHT AND THEY WORK AMAZING..

Got this set up for our rv. Everything was great, had some slight issues that was easily fixed. Well woke up to my camper smoking and the inverter was freaking out. Didn’t even last a year and almost started a fire.

This kit does not come with 600W solar panels. It comes with (6) 100W solar panels. The ad is misleading.
