I loved walkie-talkies as a kid and now I guess they are called two-way radios. I have owned a few over the years and I must say that these work better than the ones I have owned in the past, even better than my Midland. I spent $99 and got 4 rechargeable two-way radios (2 black and 2 white) with 2 sets (2 chargers per set) of zippered charging cords, 2 charging outlet heads, and 4 mics/speaker earbuds. There is a lot in this package for the money.The kids used these during a hike to some new trails by the house. I gave them each one of these radios to test them out. They traveled about two miles out and communication was clear. I am going to use these for convoy road trips, inside convention centers, during camping trips, at Disneyland and Six Flags parks, and to give to the guest that stay in our detached guest house. The standby time is impressive and the features are what you would expect from today's two-way radios. The official NOAA weather stream broadcast is an excellent feature and comes in clear! To receive NOAA broadcast, push MENU WX for 3 seconds and then you will hear NOAA streaming. you can toggle channels for the best reception in your area and also set it for NOAA alerts. To exit NOAA, just press MENU WX again for 3 seconds or simply turn off the two-way radio. BTW-the belt clips are detachable if you would like a lower profile radio. In addition, the LED light is a nice feature if you are camping and going to the bathroom at night and also need to stay in touch for security reasons (Jason is after you or rabid raccoons want to test your fortitude).Oh, and my high school daughters want to keep one in their room to communicate with each other. They have the latest iPhones but they want to use walkie talkies to communicate. I thought that was cute.

I have had these radio's for nearly four years.They are an awesome addition to my jobsite.The batteries last forever, they are very well made, the sound quality is amazing.They are worth their weight in gold.My only problem with them, is that I had 2 belt clips break....I contacted the company and within 3 days they sent me 4 new belt clips...FREE OF CHARGE!!!!!!!!I honestly can not say enough good things about the product and company.Make the purchase they are worth every penny.

The device is good and easy to handle. At short distance the sound quality is excellent.However, the range (even on flat terrain) is far from being as stated.

These radio's are a good value, simple clean radios. They have a quality feel with excellent battery life. They have adequate range for my uses. Car to car communication work good. These radios enable my significant other to give me directions while backing the RV without yelling. I'm sure we are less entertaining at the RV park as a result.

Range isn’t as good as was said it would be

The radios appear to work fine and I like the features however, it is difficult to use the radios with my other brands of FRS radios because the channel numbers of the frequencies are different. For example, the SAMCOM channels 1-8 is same as FRS channels 15-22 and SAMCOM 9-22 is same as FRS 1-14. Maybe I just received a bad or older firmware but I would rate radios much higher if not for the channels issue. Update: The company promptly contacted me and worked to see that this issue was resolved to my satisfaction. They have a good performing radio and they strive for customer satisfaction so my rating is upgraded.

These are the best quality sound walkie talkies I have ever purchased. We work in a museum and for the first time I don't have to ask to repeat. It's very clear. Very long range and just much better over all. I like being able to keep the flash light on without having to keep pressing the button. Simple upgrades from what we had, but so much better.
