Reliable and delicious
I love this coffee maker! It really does make a quality cup of coffee. Great options for steeping, temp, etc. Cleans up nicely and easily. When turning it to “stop drip” it leaks mildly but that could be user error. Very happy with the function and look.

Great flavor & Programmable
Overall: This coffee maker makes really good tasting coffee & is programmable so you can have coffee ready and waiting for whatever time you want.Depending on your expertise with coffee and coffee makers, my review may either be relatable or totally off what your expectations are. In terms of overall quality; if we say a professional, copper tubing, 'steam-punk' looking contraption that costs $5k is a 10 on a scale of 1-10, and a standard boring coffee maker is a 1, I'd say this is a 3 or 4. Looks: It's mostly plastic, but was aesthetically designed well with a sleek techy look and nice lighting, and a touch screen. It does look cool for the price point. I just wanted an auto-programmable pour-over system and it works great for that and makes really good coffee. The good:-the flavor is great-programmability to automatically make coffee-options to drill down into specifics like a weight scale w/ability to measure the right amount of grounds vs H2O to add-Bloom and strength settings if you're into that level of detail- the lights are pretty cool when it is brewing coffee. Nothing annoying, just nice subtle internal lights that make an otherwise plasticky (is that a word?) device look more "sleek"Bad:-Touch screen is a little user-unfriendly, kinda glitchy, but works once you figure out the process.-coffee seems to splatter fine-droplets around the machine as coffee is being made. prepare to wipe up each time a pot is brewed-hot water flowing through plastic pieces; not sure about the BPA issues if you're worried about that- the carafe's glass is definitely on the "thin" side. I guarantee its just a matter of months before I accidentally hit it on my sink and break it while cleaning it.-There's a 2 piece filter holder design/insert that needs better engineering; it feels like it doesnt properly fit together.I dont use or need all of the functions, but nice to know they're there. It makes good coffee.

Best Coffee Maker
I love this thing. Easy to program and customize the perfect cup. Easy to use. Easy to clean. Has additional filter for water. Only draw back is the stop pour option. It accidentally sends coffee to the ring that supports the hopper (funnel, whatever). Also its size. You can get about 3 or 4 cups of coffee out of the pot, depending on how much coffee you drink. For 2 people that’s about 3 and a half cups. Other than that I’ve had no issues and really like the taste of the coffee that comes out.

Programmable pour over...Winning!
Love EVERYTHING about it, it's easy to use and so cool looking! The tank lights up and you can see the water bubbling up through a clear tube at the back of the tank. It makes you feel like a mad scientist when it's brewing. Really fun and makes an excellent pot of coffee. Highly recommended!!

A Nice Set of Features - with some improvements
UPDATE AFTER THREE YEARS:The unit is no longer usable - not because it doesn't work - it does; it makes great coffee. But, the swivel arm has corroded and the paint on it is peeling off to the point that I have no confidence that the same metallic corrosion that I see on the outside isn't being brewed into my coffee from the inside. It was great while it lasted, and if you want about two years of service from your coffee maker, then this is a nice option.UPDATE AFTER A COUPLE YEARS:I have downgraded to three stars from four; the review below still holds - great coffee. However, I am reducing the rating because the the swivel water dispenser is corroding and the paint used is pealing off. If that is the exterior, I wonder about the interior. what is in my water? I have to clean the corrosion frequently now and after only a couple of years - I am looking to replace it. If they could fix this - this coffee maker makes the best automatic coffee I have found.THE GOOD TO GREAT! Great value for what it does and it makes as close to a pour over quality cup of coffee without manually doing it. It is nice to look at; reasonably priced and it offers many options to tailor your coffee to your tastes. Very thoughtfully designed: e.g. a glass drip cone, a built in scale, options for temperature control, strength and bloom cycle; a funnel that carefully siphons the coffee to the bottom of the pot without splashing, and a rain head drip dispenser to more evently saturate the coffee grind. Completely pleased with the coffee we get.Improvements suggested: have a 'next' button so I don't have to wait for the timed acceptance of each option selected. To change just the number of cups, I have to go through all the other options to get to the number of grams calculated for that new number of cups. my rain head dripper tends to drip mostly at one end and not evenly dispersed. The bloom cycle only lasts about 10 seconds. It should last 45-60 seconds to fully bloom the coffee grind.General use - it takes a little getting use to how the glass cone fits into the removable plastic holder (which serves as a stop drip function) especially when removing since it holds liquid that is easily spilt.Still - this little pot is MUCH easier than doing the manual pour overs and yields a fantastic cup of coffee - tailored to your personal taste. Very pleased overall.
