Let It Be Special Edition [Deluxe 2 CD]

This is one of the best musical purchases I have made in a while. Sure, it's the Beatles, their music is great however the quality of the recording is outstanding! I have a system that is very revealing, you'll know if you have a low-quality recording. The vocals are pretty forward in the music but there are so many nuances in the music....just wow! This two-disc set is pretty incredible! And as a huge bonus, a few of the songs are from their roof top concert, the last public appearance the Beatles made. And if you're privy, Billy Preston was on the keys during that concert. I can't believe it's taken me "this" long to own it!!!

CDs arrived in a timely manner in good condition. I am very pleased.

This mix brings back the dialogue between songs that was on the original album I had growing up.

It could really be a 5-Star. I've always thought George Martin was the 5th Beatle. He and the group were at the very front of what defined an era of popular culture. It was sad when it ended and even thogh some of their very bestwork is there, the album as a whole has an unfinished vibe and of occurring at a crossroads. This was their last to be released but second-to-last to be recorded. Get it. Put on headphones and listen to the title track, giving yourself a few minutes of silence after to let it soak in.

These remasters are big, warm and improved.The sonic footprint is very intimate and detailed.I have a couple hundred Beatles records in vinyl.Some are dead mint mono pressings.Those are incredibly endearing to be sure.But now I want the mono reissues as my last Beatles purchase.The stereo Giles Martin anniversary mixes are all such gorgeous offerings.I'm going to cut and paste this review, because I have them all, and my conclusion is exactly the same.The Giles Martin mixes are the finest sounding Beatles records of all time.All of the albums artwork is amazing and there's booklets that go into incredible detail regarding the creation of the album you're holding.If you love the Beatles,buy all of the anniversary mixes.You'll be impressed all the way around.

Essa versão de Let It Be, com 2 CDs e novos mixes de Giles Martin, é maravilhosa e complementa a original remasterizada de 2009. A edição vem com um livreto contendo detalhes da produção deste que é o último disco lançado pelos Beatles como banda, ainda que não tenha sido o último a ser gravado. Imperdível!

Really good value for money Beatles 2 disc edition of Let it be.Next day delivery was on time as usual and arrived in perfect condition. I already had the album before but this album is remastered and sounds a lot better than the original.The bonus disc is very good also. The 2 disc set also has a booklet which is really good also.If you enjoy the Beatles this is definitely definitely worth getting this one.
