These were an excellent choice and value, especially for the price.Let me put the size question to rest, especially since there have been some questions. I have a big head, bigger than average and these fit perfectly and comfortably. They are fully adult sized, but would probably also work for an older child. The size is adjustable by extending more or less. If there is a concern about 'size' it might just be that they are relatively thick and bulky, not flat, so they take up a bit more space, but you can't expect them to be 'slim' if you want good noise reduction. And they do fold up into a somewhat more compact package.They block the sounds very well, at least as good as, if not better than most other noise reduction ear protectors, but, of course, they do NOT have active, electrical, 'Nose Cancelling.'I got these because I travel a lot and both my wife and I wear hearing aids. When we are on a plane, we cannot relax and 'cut the noise' unless we remove our hearing aids, but then we can't use the Bluetooth 'ear bud' function of our hearing aids and listen to music or books on tape. However, when we use these, they block the external noise, and allow us to relax while we listen to soft music.I highly recommend these. I have bought 4 pairs of them.

I use them while I mow my lawn to reduce the noise. They work well.

We took these to the NHRA drag races and they worked perfectly. I already own the same set and I bought these for the hubby. He used them which is a big deal for him because he hates anything that is tight on his rather large head. They work. Not too heavy and not too tight. Great noise reduction.

I do a lot of loud work operations: chainsaws, chippers, lawn mowing, string trimming, chop saw, planer...and I would like to preserve my hearing into old age. These do the trick. It's my third pair and I keep a set in the garage near the tools as well as one at the lake garage...because I'm talking work and play are both loud operations. I appreciate the new springs which cup my ears more tightly than my older set. It reminds me to buy a new set every year or two to keep the protection strong.

Fine, but squeezes your head to the point of headache and doesnt really fit around my ears in a way that doesnt hurt. Blocks out sound very well though.

These work well and at a good price. NRA recommends a minimum NRR of 22 for shooting sports and these are rated at an NRR of 26.
