Good game
Sadly I did not enjoy this as much as the first game I don't think there was enough new stuff for the sequel to make it any different from the original but I still think it's a good game overall.

Dialogue heavy and pretty much more of the same
While I have also been playing Xenoblade 3 I have mostly devoted any gaming time to Horizon FW. Now I loved the first one and the DLC but I really can't say the same for the sequel and i'll tell you why!The graphics are very nice to look at and the combat remains to be fun and challenging and some of the story is pretty good but this is where the greatness of this game ends for me. The game is dialogue heavy, so much so I ended up starting to skip over bits because I got so bored with it. This is to say I have never done this in any other game and this is the main quest story not just side quests which there is even more dialogue. Speaking of the storyline it's not pulling me in very much, it's safe to say that the game is pretty much more of the same from the first and I can't even tell you what's new.The map is pepper with lots of things to do but most are repetitive. The world looks fantastic and I would rather have less to do than having to do the same stuff over and over again. There are save fire points everywhere it's almost a joke that you have a travel pack to fast travel. The world is peppered with items to pick up and collect as well, again you will pick up way more than what you need and some of what you actually need is more of a challenged to get that you may decide not to bother. I would honestly prefer the same map with less stuff to do so I can enjoy the world that has been created.Climbing doesn't make sense! you can climb some areas but not others yet they look the same. You have to keep using the focus all the time to see where you can climb. People and animals just randomly disappear! You take aim to fire at an animal or person and just disappear "Poof" gone! You can easily get trapped! sometimes on random map areas, underwater can be easily dioriantating and you can get trapped without seeing what it is that you are caught on and you can get trapped in heavy bush areas, sometimes just losing vision of your character completely. Also there is invisible walls!80 hours in and im just playing for the sake of it now, I really loved Las Vegas area but so far I am not loving it like I did the last game. You can even get one shot killed which can be extremely annoying.I wanted to love this as much as the first game but I just don't. While combat remains fun and some exploration is enjoyable in the vast beautiful world that has been created the game is dialogue heavy and feels very samey.

Amazing game, incredible story and better than the original game in every way!!!
Just finished playing this game (main story) today (ps5). The story and gameplay are much more better than the original game. Taken me over 125 hours to complete and thats with exploring the most of the map.Ignore the negative reviews because not everybody who has reviewed this game has played the whole game through, rather a few hours. I think its fair to say you should review the game once you have played it through properly. The graphics are amazing and you can tell developers have put in alot of time and work and I dont regret spending the money to play this game. The game expands upon first game in every way. The story is amazing and the side quests are more interesting unlike some games (assassins creed). The map is massive and there is much to explore in the wild west. There are a range of weapons you can use but you need to level up by doing main and side quests as well as upgrading your weapons. You will need to use different weapons for different enemies depending on there weaknesses. There is also a skill tree where you can upgrade your skills to your own liking. There are some parts of the game liike the tailneck in the middle of nowhere where you cannot reach it at the start or middle of the game. You will have to complete more main quests in order explore certain areas of the game (but your not told that). The ocean is an amazing place. Best Ive seen in a game. The music is incredible to. I love the soundtrack. My favourite is track of the game is: The World on her shoulders.I don't really have any bad points to say about the game apart from the climbing can be abit frustarating at times but nothing to bad.I cannot wait for the next and final game!!!Will be amazing to see what the developers come up with next. Although will be years away, I can't wait to play it.If your thinking about buying this game, dont hesitate buy it worth the money if you like story games.
