much nicer than I expected
I just received this and it is ever better than I expected. It looks great, is spacious, has lots of internal organization that doesn't add bulk. I was worried it would be too large, but it does not feel big at all. It fits my 11-inch iPad just about exactly. Everything is very high quality and sturdy without being bulky. Really pleased with this bag.

Worth it
First I order the 6L and it was a hair too small for what I wanted to carry. This 9L is amazing and Bellroys system for how the bag collapses and expands is genius. Also the zipper system really lets it open way bigger than you expect. It is worth the price and I will be buying more Bellroy products.

Sick diaper bag
This is a great bag. I've been using it as a minimalist diaper bag, and it's awesome for that task. 3-4 diapers, changing pad, baby wipes, surface wipes, hand sanitizer, ointment - it all fits along with everyday items like phone, wallet, keys, mask, snacks, without looking bulky. It's super comfortable and doesn't flop around at all. Ranger green is a bit more olive green than I'd prefer, but it's still nice.

Clean Look
This generations fanny pack.Meant to carry small to medium sized lightweight essentials.Extremely easy access your items compared to messenger or backpack. No need to dig your arms in bagWhen opened on your body, can get entire view of your itemsNot meant for tablets (kindle or e-book able to fit), or textbooks.More for cameras, wallet, passport, cash, keys, headphones, chargers, cables, glasses, lotion/sunscreen, snacks, pens, thin foldable raincoat, Nintendo Switch (joycons attached), small notebook, and other similar sized essential itemsI like the streamline smooth look of exterior. No overly exposed zippers when wearingHas a quick release strap on both sides. Easy to use and has thin profile so it doesn’t get it in way or rub against your body when wearing. Wished it was made of all metal instead of part plastic as it may not last in the long run?? I personally don’t use it often and just swing the bag over my shoulder to take it off, so can’t tell the durability for the long haul, good to know it's an option thoughWide opening for main pocket. Can dump a lot of items in if you wishMaterial is very flexible and expands the more you put in it.Very good padding, contours to your body well (assuming you don’t have large objects that pokes out). The more heavy objects you put in, the more it may weigh on you as the strap doesn’t accommodate weight resistance well.A lot of pockets for organization. If you want more you can always get those bag-within-a-bag organizersFront pocket can be a bit tight and meant for thinner items. The more you fit into that compartment it takes some room from inner main pocket. Wished it has a cord hole passthrough for charging on the goDoes have 2 waterbottle holder pocket, but it’s intended to stick out and held on by zipper, which is an odd look in my opinion. I personally use it for small accessories. You can put water bottle horizontally, but make sure you have a leakproof cap.Has two pen holders, but only fit standards sized pens, longer ones may stick out and may interfere with zipperHas dedicated pocket for sunglasses, glasses. I like how it’s positioned at the top interior of the bagI like the zipper design. Able to open half way if you like from either side. Don’t have to waste effort zipping all the way open if you don’t’ have to. Just have to remember what side the items you want to access is in.Overall, great easy access sling that looks modern without zippers sticking out. Great if they included a wire passthrough on front pocket, made the clip all metal, and maybe add a grab handle on back

This is one of the best purchases I've made this year
Love my Sling from Bellroy. Thinking about getting another one in a More Neutral tone for Every day carry. As a Big and Tall person I was concerned that the fit wouldn't be comfortable bit I've been pleasantly surprised and literally carry it every day.

Sizes?!?
I have a 7L sling from TomToc that is twice as big as this 9L Bellroy…I don’t understand!!! I keep watching reviews of the Bellroy and it seems huge but in real life feels small! I do not understand!!

Straps will accidentally unbuckle and nothing is secure
It’s frustrating because there are so many things to like about this bag. The materials are mostly great. The pockets and organization is wonderful. The size and shape works well. It’s almost perfect for what I need it for, but then for some bizarro reason, they over engineered the strap release “system.”One side of it is solid metal. It’s nice. But then the other side is cheap plastic that will probably break long before anything else in the bag shows the slightest amount of wear. But worst then that, it’s placed in such a way and it’s so easy to unlatch that this bag is going to fall to the ground multiple times. There’s enough padding in some places and if you aren’t exceptionally tall, it’ll be fine. But what happens when that fall goes farther than the ground beneath your feet? Or it just so happens to land in the wrong spot. It’s absolutely absurd. And the most frustrating part is who actually needs this strap to unhook there? It’s completely unnecessary. It’s just an extra over engineered unnecessary thing that makes this bag completely useless for no reason other than some execs ego.
