I’m really disappointed in the salt mill- no matter what we’ve tried, the salt won’t grind, and it just comes out in chunks. The pepper mill is fabulous and I wish the salt mill had the same inner mechanism that the pepper mill has! We just tried using the pepper mill with salt, and it worked like a dream. For such an excellent brand, and for the price I paid for the set, I certainly expected more.

The pepper grinder is superb as are all Peugeot pepper grinder. First in class!However, the little salt grinder is a disappointment. It only expels chunks of the Himalayan salt that works so well in our 8” tall Peugeot Daman 8-inch Acrylic Salt and Pepper Mill Set. I would return, but my rights have expired.

I've always heard about the quality of Peugeot pepper mills. I can say without a doubt, all of the claims are true. These are top tier. I wish I had bought a fancier set, but these are still veruly nice. I'll be gifting these to family and friends next holiday season.For anyone struggling with the salt grinder, it's not tight enough. Initially I had this issue too, but if you rotate the grinder while tightening the top nut it does the trick. I'm really liking how well I can control the salt over a standard shaker too.
