Arabic in a Flash Kit Volume 2 (Tuttle Specials) Cards – September 20, 2016

These cards are excellent for intermediate and advanced students of Arabic. Really helps with contemporary Arabic, both formal and colloquial. If you are a beginner, you are not ready for this yet

Very helpful for beginners... esp.with trasliteration n meanings in english

I'm really sad about these cards. They are really nice cards but the content is not very useful for beginning Arabic students. It has the alphabet, which is great but then it just jumps into verbs. I really wish it had cards for numbers (counting), colors, food and other words that a beginner would typically learn before jumping into a bunch of verb conjugations. If there's a set like that out there, please let me know. I'd buy it in a heartbeat.Like I said, I really wish this set met my needs. I like the quality of the cards.

Loads of words beyond my class. This is very helpful.

90% of the flashcards were random verbs that you’ll never use

Not for beginners, and not "in a flash." I was looking for flash cards that would have the basic vocabulary I was learning in a first-semester course. This set includes few of the basic words, and lots that one would only encounter in a very advanced course. Materials on Amazon need to make clear that this is intended for quite advanced students, not for beginners.
