I liked the cover very much. I will use it for carrying my small sketchbooks. It is the best light weight option I’ve found for this. I can put 4 5x7 inch sketch books, pens, pencils and erasers in the inside pocket. The outside pocket works great for larger erasers, even my phone. I have pockets inside that can hold more flat items, like a passport. This is a versatile cover. The zipper works well. I got the black and it looks good. It is probably water resistant. I recommend this for sketchers and writers.

Great quality but very large. Check the size before you buy. We returned and reordered a smaller one. :)

I bought this as an upgrade for the Battle Board Scout I have been using as a briefing kit (so when I get called for a meeting I can just grab it and go) I liked the idea of having a pocket on the front instead of the clear window (on the Battle Board), so I purchased this one. First time out of the box I pulled the zipper around, filled the cover with a rite in the rain 5x7 notepad, 3 pens, and my magpul daka wallet in the front pocket for the sake of test fit. I zipped the cover closed, then open again, and when I tried to close it the zipper snagged immediately. At first I thought it was material getting hung up somewhere, but it was the zipper itself; it was not lining up properly. I take a light to it, and I find that the zipper is a cheap POS, and a bunch of the teeth are misaligned. I finally got the zipper to clear this blockage, and now it won't even close.Horrible product, T3. Pro tip: YKK zippers have made a killing in the tactical gear industry for a reason. USE THEM!

This works perfect for storing a book or 2, with pens & other gear. So great also for price.
