With a uSD card inserted, this works just like a USB flash drive. If your Android device can access a USB flash drive, then it should work with this. It works with my Nexus 7 FHD tablet using Nexus Media Importer.

Q: does it work with 64gb

As the photo suggests, the memory card goes into the metal side (the side you place into the USB slot). It fits pretty snug and sits flush so you can plug it into the USB slot without worrying about the card sliding out or interfering with the operation of the apparatus. I would still not recommend this particular model however. I would suggest the cheaper looking but more functional card reader by the same manufacturer. Q: Why doesn't this work on cards above 32gb? Is there a similar one that works with a 128gb card?

Hello,When the item was designed the 32gb card was the most popular card size. We do not have a Nano reader that allows for the 128gb card.
