Very durable considering it's low cost
My sons and I peppered this thing with slapshots all winter long - several thousand at least - and the worst we could do to it was black puck marks and a couple negligible dents that I would expect on any goal other than a regulation one. Getting another for this coming winter so we have one at each end of the outdoor rink!

Thin metal tubing cheap product, ok price, good for kids
Very thin cheap steel around 20 ga ~ .040 in or thinner without measuring leaning towards thinner. Good for roller hockey ball but not the biscuit definitely not for the real hockey puck without severe denting. Net and assembly went well time consuming yes but relatively intuitive skipping between 3 to 5 laces to keep the netting even, seriously bad reviews because of the netting is because of a lack of common sense. Final impressions is that it looks nice but lacks durability. In fact it saves me a massive time and effort in actually bending and welding the regulation solid schedule 11 ga ~ .125 in tube I currently do not have the tools to make that a fast project. I am a welder by trade this is for my two kids perfect for their use 13 and 11

Net too big
The net portion is way too big. Franklin customer service has been absolutely no help, they sent me the same way too big net then told me I just didn't understand what part I am missing (I'm not missing a part I have the wrong size part) and then sent a video of how to assemble which I still can't to with the wrong part.

Heavy duty and built to stay that way.
Built to last. When I was in high school and college way back then I worked 6 years as an ice skating guard. Actually then a majority of people were figure skaters although ice hockey was alive and well. Many years later not that long ago I visited my old rink and ice hockey now rules. They even have the net off onto one corner of the ice while the regular sessions are going on. I went on the ice with my figure skates, did a loop jump, and a spin, and this little guy looked up at me and say, "Wow, you are a figure skater." That shows you how rare it is. So having a net like this whether your children are playing street hockey, and getting their moves and shots down, or using it on the ice, Franklin is a big name in sports and this net does more than suffice.Weighing in at over 55 pounds with 2" steel tubing the shipping carrier came up and knocked on my door, and she asked me to help her get it off of the truck. Normally UPS and FedEx guys handle something like this. Once it is on your property it is very easy to cut open the box and bring it in piece by piece. Allow some time for assembly, it is not a 5 minute job. Overall highly recommended.

Heavy And Rugged Hockey Goal
This is a very nice hockey goal. It's nice looking, very heavy and very well-made. This is not a lightweight, flimsily made hockey goal, and I have no doubt that it will last for many, many years.Assembling this hockey goal is pretty easy, and will probably take you about 30-45 minutes to put it together. If this is your first hockey goal, I'd suggest looking at a YouTube video or two for helpful assembly techniques.Once assembled, this official size hockey goal is quite large, and cannot be broken down and easily transported. You could probably finagle this assembled hockey goal into full-size pickup truck to transport it to another location, but, realistically, you should just plan on leaving this goal in a single location.Overall this is a really good hockey goal that I can't see having any problems with. If this one is in your budget, give it a try. I'm going to recommend it without reservation, and I'm fairly certain that you'll be happy with it.If you have any questions about this hockey goal, please feel free to ask, and I'll try my best to answer. I hope you found this review helpful.
