Great light
Great light, with easy mounting. Battery least few hours so I thing its long enough for week. Light have multiple different modes which make you well visible on the roads and most important makes you safe.

Easy to attach and bright.
The Cateye 300 Viz Rear Light is an easy to attach bike light that offers more than enough flashing or solid modes to suit most needs. I've had and used similar 'generic' products of this type before which have been good too, however, I needed a new one and plumped for this Cateye branded one this time and it seems to be well made. The Cateye 300 Viz Rear Light is very bright - but I would suggest that either of the cheaper (slightly less bright) 100 or 150 lumens versions of this light would also make very effective rear bike lights too!The light is of course rechargeable and it comes supplied with a charging cable, although it's perhaps the shortest recharging cable in the world at about 2" long.

The problem with Cateye products is they're too good...
Hats of to Cateye engineering, after 7 years my mini micro has a broken power button - still works but I need a small stick to turn it on or off.I was worried the replacement wouldn't be as good, or this would be a cheapo basic light. Not at all - this is, to me, everything anyone could want in a back light. Very Bright, clearly visible from sides, multiple flashing patterns and good battery life. Couldn't be happier, I just hope Cateye don't do themselves out the market by making such good products they last forever. No reason to buy bike lights from anyone else when they're this good and this cheap (I know there's cheap options from chinese websites, but the quality isn't there - battery life isn't as good, lights aren't as bright, and they use non standard charging cables a lot which makes them a pain to charge)

Excellent light. However, if Cateye had went the extra mile, it could have been the perfect light
If you want a bright rear light, this will not disappoint you. Personally, I prefer to use the "Daytime Hyperflash" mode at night and I find drivers take a little more care before deciding to overtake me. Those who do overtake, I have found give me a wider a berth than with a normal light. As far as I am concerned, I have achieved exactly what I wanted from this light. The micro USB that Cateye provide is absolutely disgusting for the price you pay for this light. I thought that other reviewers were being sarcastic when they said the cable was short - but at around 2 inches long, they aren't wrong! The "ladder rubber band" that comes with the light is okay, but I do wish that Cateye had made it perhaps another 1-2cm longer. I found it quite fiddly using the rubber band in the dark, made even worse by the somewhat stingy length that Cateye somehow deemed as adequate. I wouldn't like to stretch it on anything thicker than a seat post, as I would constantly worry about it snapping.Do not buy the "Cateye H34 FlexTight Bracket" that comes as a recommended bundle. This bracket is not compatible with the Cateye ViZ450. The bracket that I purchased is the "Cateye SP11 FlexTight Bracket" and it works perfectly with this light - removal is also far quicker and simpler than using the rubber band included with the light.

Bright light decent for night riding
Easily fits to your seat post and is quite bright, its perfect for night riding. The daylight hyperflash mode looks seizure inducing though

great light at good price
Bought to use as a light for comuting. The light lasts for about 2 weeks of comuting (40 mins a day) on daytime hyper constant, which is very bright and hard for drivers to miss. Provides good sideways visibility too.For what it costs, you cant go wrong, plus its a proper brand, not a Chinese random.

Clearly seen
Excellent rear light. In flashing mode can be clearly seen and the battery appears to last a long time.

Only worked fir 7 months
I bought this rear bike light just seven months ago. It requires replacement batteries. The light initially worked well but has now stopped working despite replacing with new batteries. In conclusion, a poor quality product that lasted less than seven months. I strongly suggest you do not buy this.
