I have been using shatavari for years. Prior to discovering it I had CRIPPLING periods that lasted a week; excruciating cramps, heavy bleeding, headaches, diarrhoea, and exhaustion. I had a similar but shorter experience at ovulation.Since I started using shatavari I usually have a 3 day period, one day is heavy & a little bit painful but not too bad. I am able to live a relatively normal life now which I doubt I would’ve been able to do if I still suffered those symptoms.I can’t recommend Shatavari highly enough. I usually shop around for the highest strength & purity at the lowest price.I did read online that you shouldn’t take it for too long. I’ve taken a break from time to time, but after a few months without taking the shatavari my periods reverted back to what they were before.I’ve also read that shatavari optimises male hormones too, decreases menopause symptoms and optimises lactation in breastfeeding mothers. Overall I think it’s amazing stuff!
