This laptop stand lip was too thick for our Surface Book. It's sturdy enough, and the adjustable height was nice, but the SB is just too thin to type on the keyboard without the lip edge cutting into your wrists. I recommend this for laptops of at least 3/4 inch thickness, any thinner than that and you'll end up bumping your wrists on the edge.

It's a little funky but we wanted both a slant to the laptop and some ventilation so this works. We like that we can adjust the amount of the slant. We removed the swivel wheel from the bottom so the overall stand isn't quite so high off the desk and it also seems more stable.

Purchased this laptop stand so I could get a better typing angle. I does work great; however, because it rotates, you have to be careful that it doesn't move while you are typing. Perhaps the rotation feature could be removed? Good buy.

This stand works pretty well, but check the screw on the bottom of the stand. You may need to tighten this screw before using it. I set up the stand without checking and wound up with some scratches on my table. I tightened the screw and the stand no longer scratches my table.

I must say, this stand has served me well for my 13" Apple MBPro and a couple 11.6" Samsung ChromeBooks. I tried to make use of the swivel plate but it just didn't grow on me so I eventually took it off 1 year into its life. This has good adjustment levels depending on the laptop's size and remains firmly in place. Also, it got plenty of space underneath for airflow and circulation which theoretically helps with cooling/ventilation. The only drawback that I am dealing with this product is its rather narrow width. I wish it's at least a third or half an inch wider on either side to better "catch" the device in place. Other than that, this stand comes highly recommended!

just what I was looking for. This stand elevates the degree of slant to a perfect typing height. Also, I like the pad that keeps the computer from sliding off the stand. My computer edges are a little sharp and now the pad keeps them from rubbing my wrist as I use the touch pad. The stand also pivots which comes in handy also. My husband says just another gadget, but it is so much more useful and I have enjoyed using it already. Hopefully the elevation will also help the heat problem I have been having with my computer. I can feel that the heat is escaping more easily with the elevation vs. sitting on a flat surface and no fan noise or cords connecting the fan to my computer. yahoo!

Perfect for 17" laptops!

Buyer beware, this is thin plastic and too flexible to be stable. Mine is slightly tweaked and won't sit flat. It kept collapsing on one side when I put my 15" laptop on it no matter how carefully I placed the computer on the stand. I had to use black gorilla tape to hold things in place so it would stay propped up. It does provide ventilation now that I taped it which is the only good thing about it. Not recommended.
