Excellent
Excellent product, well designed, well made, good features. It came in good packaging that gave proper protection to the contents in transit. The price was satisfactory and I am finding the player to be every bit as good as other Panasonic products in my home. I can recommend it.

Much Better then the Current Sony Equivalent
My Sony 4K player died on me, so after reading lots of reviews bought this Panasonic. It is far superior in visuals and sound over the Sony it replaced, which is still the flagship Sony Model. TPS are also a great help. They helped me iron out a problem with my HDMI leads very quickly. so you can buy with confidence of great backup and wonderful 4K quality with deep shadow resolution. This model is only multi region on DVD so BE CAREFUL if you want Blu Ray Multi Region which TPS also supply.

Brilliant picture - but won't play one of my UHD discs
Well packaged, arrived the day after placing the order etc., so no problems in that respect. The good - really good picture HDR processing, it excels at bringing out the details in the shadows. I watched Dune 2021 UHD last night, and while most shots are similar to my old Sony X700 there are a few images where the the difference was clearly visible. This also solved the skipping/juddering on that film that the Sony exhibited. The bad - one major issue so far, hence only 3 stars. My Game Of Thrones Series 8 UHD disc one simply won't play. The player reports a 'compatibility error' and gives up. That disc played fine on the Sony so I don't think there is a problem with it. Only that disc so far, but since I've only tried a few UHD discs I'm worried that the same thing will happen again. Will experiment with some more discs when time permits, so far a 25% failure rate isn't vey impressive.Less seriously, the top menu seems very sluggish (a few seconds delay after each key press). Also, I'm using the second HDMI output to feed audio to my soundbar. Most of the time its OK, but sometimes after playing media from the USB port my LG B8 tv directs the soundbar to switch to the ARC input, and I have to root around for the soundbar's remote control to switch it back again. Something in this player is causing the TV to do that, as it never happened with the Sony. (I've disabled Panasonic's Viera Link, but it made no difference). Any ideas how to address this?A Post Script - Increased my score to 4 stars after a few hours experimenting yesterday. All of the discs I tried worked, and after that the troublesome Game Of Thrones disc worked as well. My other comments about the sluggish menu, and soundbar switching to its ARC input still stand unfortunately.

Stunning picture and good quality upscaling from standard Blu-ray
Excellent player at a very reasonable price. 4k discs are not cheap but the quality (picture and audio) when played on this machine is superb. Upscaling from standard Blu-rays is as good and unobtrusive as I have seen so no real need to buy 4k discs of ones you already have on standard Blu-ray . DVD playback is also very good. I play the audio through the digital output and my own DAC, amp and speakers.

Good player. Decent price.
Good player that does multi region. User interface menu isn’t the greatest but once setup it’ll never need changing. Flap on from covers offset disc drive so alway looks symmetrical. Supports Dolby Vision and Atmos sound.

Not multiregional
Have had several issues with this player not playing blu-ray discs. One is the Polish-French trilogy by Kieslowski, the other is My Own Private Idaho among others. As far as I knew when I purchased this, it could play PAL and NTSC (though I thought these codes didnt apply to bluray, only DVD). Pretty much a random guess if any movie I buy will play on this thing. Lame.
